Footy memberships are about 'smoke n mirrors' now, 45,000 bullshit memberships is still 45,000.People get excited and are drawn into becoming part of it.

A lot of people aren't much different to sheep or as my lovely Greek friend says sheeps!

From this point last year until memberships closed for 2011 we sold a further 5,318.

Do that this year and 35K is reached.

Its been real amazing effort to get to 30k so early in the season.
We are usually trying to scrap to 30k in June.

Especially given our "competitor bracket" clubs like Melbourne, the Dogs and St Kilda are really struggling with theirs.

Agree - if we crack 34k we should all be very excited. All credit to the membership team as this is a great result so far. Let's hope we can continue the growth.
