The rewards outweigh the risks imoIm just wary of him missing games and the odd terrible score
Personally, I'm preferring to pick players who are priced below what I think they'll average. I think Lloyd is priced above what he'll average. No doubt it will be hard watching him at times without owning him thoughI do agree that he’s maxed out average wise, but he was just about the best scorer in the game from those last 8-10 games last season
Could just post the leave code on the forum and it'll fill in no time.Anyone know if you can change a private league to open after it is created?
I’m not sold on Cogs with Taranto coming back and the potential rise of GreenA few thoughts:
- Will cogs bounce back after a disappointing 2020? Very well priced for what he can do
- Is Harmes a viable option in defence? Said himself he's back in the midfield this season after a failed role at half back in 2020
- Harry Edwards earmarked as a second ruck option for West Coast, 170k defender
- Can Docherty get back to averaging 100+ with Saad copping the tag, very cheap for what he can do
- If Phillips is replacing Isaac Smith on one wing, who's replacing Scully on the other?
- Zac Bailey
Some absolutely great chat here! I'll have to do some research on the viney news as I'm not up to date on any injuries he's sustained. Are Melbourne playing Bray on the wing to protect his head?I’m not sold on Cogs with Taranto coming back and the potential rise of Green
I’ve got no clue on Harmes. Feel like Brayshaw will see a bigger uptick in CBA’s with the Viney news first. Assuming Viney actually misses. Hear Harmes could play a tagging role and it’s rare taggers ever score well. Although in defence might be ok.
Edwards should be a ripper for us. Would like to see him get games this year.
Docherty should improve again one would think. Less attention but it also appeared like Carlton chip it around less in the backline now. Although no Simpson means docherty is probably on full time kick in duties going forward. Could be a good pick but at his price you can probably afford to wait if you’re going with one of him or Williams
There’s been talk of Downie slotting in. But then there’s also that Finn kid too so not sure.
I’m not sold that he gets enough mid time as he’s so good at plugging gaps that Fagan needs filling on game day
Going to have to wait for pre season games for the Hawks wing spot. Henderson also retired who spent time on a wing.A few thoughts:

Can you shed any light on greaves ? Looks a playerGoing to have to wait for pre season games for the Hawks wing spot. Henderson also retired who spent time on a wing.
Finn and Downie are a chance for that spot. Also have someone like a Will Day who could play a similar role but seems to be training with the backs.
If it is not one of the young guys we might just see a rotation of players on that wing instead of a specialist in the role. Shiels, O'meara, Day, all cycling through but i am not a fan of that idea.
Viney had foot surgery this week. Apparently only a two week setback but the same thing happened in 2018 and he missed half the season. Someone like Andrew Birch or adonskiSome absolutely great chat here! I'll have to do some research on the viney news as I'm not up to date on any injuries he's sustained. Tough player with good skills and a high footy IQ but Lacks some athleticism. Similar player to Hardwick probably. Can you shed any light on greaves ? Looks a player
I'll be watching Scrimshaw closely this pre season. Could be a jet with Sicily outTough player with good skills and a high footy IQ but Lacks some athleticism. Similar player to Hardwick probably.
I hope he gets a gig to start the year but our backline is probably the one area we have some decent depth.
If he plays i think his scoring potential is pretty high but i don't think you can justify paying that much for someone with questionable job security.

might be best answering positioning questions though as I don’t watch enough Melbourne games to know if this news actually has any affect on others especially Harmes
In rd 5, 6, 7, 8 when Harmes had the highest CBA for the year, he didn't go over 60. Just food for thought.Dees CBAs from 2020
If Viney ends up missing the start of the season I would suspect Brayshaw moves into Viney's role (as he did in Rd11 when Viney missed) and Harmes and/or Sparrow move into Brayshaw's #4 Mid spot in the rotations.

My guess is Saad gets the kick in duties, and plays on most of the time.Docherty should improve again one would think. Less attention but it also appeared like Carlton chip it around less in the backline now. Although no Simpson means docherty is probably on full time kick in duties going forward.
What's Harmes pace and aerobic capacity like? .....going to be a quicker game this season, less interchangesWouldn't completely rule out Harmes lining up on a wing at times
Harmes v Milera is an interesting one.Wouldn't completely rule out Harmes lining up on a wing at times
What's your thinking on those two ?Harmes v Milera is an interesting one.
He's fairly quick (to my eye), and considering he played the tagging role forcing him to run both ways, would indicate fitness is not a concern. He's more suited to being an inside mid, but could do it at times. What's Harmes pace and aerobic capacity like? .....going to be a quicker game this season, less interchanges
You'd think with 75 interchanges and quicker game ....there's going to be a need to rotate more players thru that MELB Midfield .....and quick playerHe's fairly quick (to my eye), and considering he played the tagging role forcing him to run both ways, would indicate fitness is not a concern. I'd prefer the Crows to play a controlled, kick to kick style of game thoughYou'd think with 75 interchanges and quicker game ....there's going to be a need to rotate more players thru that MELB Midfield .....and quick player
I know ADEL has a manic focus on pace & play-on from marks .....that's why you can bank on Milera, Smith ande maybe even Hamill going thru that midfield
Only if Hately, Laird and Milera are involved.I'd prefer the Crows to play a controlled, kick to kick style of game though
Not sure...that's why I asked! What's your thinking on those two ?
Can't see many going with Harmes .....it's a real speculative pick, based on Media piecesNot sure...that's why I asked!
I'd like Harmes if he has the role, but Milera is more likely to get it but injury prone.
