I’m happy to bank 100k to use elsewhere and avoid Thilthorpe. Might mean a non playing R3 but I don’t see Thilthorpe fattening up enough before leaving the paddock. What’s he average? 40?
isn't he also injured?

Don't think he plays personally

Not sure. He's a big unit clocking in at 100+ kegs and a number 2 pick so it's not like he's a scrawny kid. If he plays, I don't see why he couldn't go 55+ playing fwd and pinch hitting in the ruck. Not as if Crows are flushed with KPF's anyway.

A first year KPF would be lucky to even scrape to a 50 average one would think, especially in a bottom 4 team. Pass for me, but if there's lack of rookies like it's looking then may have to reassess

The big question is, who is on the other wing?
BJK#5
Your guess is as good as mine. I have no idea what way they will go until pre season games.

Finn/Downie the two young ones that could definitely play the role but depends if they are ready. Downie I think is more likely compared to Finn despite being a first year player.

Moore has the tank but seems to be building more of his inside game over the pre season.

Day would be an option as well possibly but seems to be training with the backs.

the other scenario is we don’t go with a 2nd specialist wingmen and just rotate Shiels, O’meara, Day etc as needed, but I am not a fan of that idea.

One of the more interesting sides to watch this year will be Hawthon due to the (hopefully) nice amount of young players getting games

Some thoughts and questions

ADEL: Watch role of Milera, Laird, Hately
BL: Watch role of Bailey; are Daniher and Cockatoo trustable?
CARL Doch stat with Saad and Newman both in the side
ESS: Heppell cheap but trustable?, Caldwell role?
FREO: Midfield split - Serong, Cerra, Fyfe?
GEEL: Jez role

GWS: TT and Cogs - back to their best?
PORT: Rocky, Rozee role?
WC Witho best 22? And if so role?
WB: Treloar Junkley etc etc etc etc role??? Bevo?????

all mid price key forwards are jinxed

Franklin with a calf niggle
Cameron soft injury

leaving daniher left
Ah yes Daniher being the last man standing fully fit just as we all expected!

What do we see Hind averaging across the half back line at Essendon?

Forwards just a shambles.
Really considering all of Lloyd, Whit, Laird, Stew, Z Will down back (possibly one out for Harmes/Milera) and going ultra cheap in the fwds.
I agree 100% hard to find a good forward apart from Marshall

Phillips could offer value assuming he gets back to the mid 90’s he had in 18/19. But I agree, all speculative at best.
have both plus Caldwell and langas
