I was interviewed for a job as a sports reporter on the ABC back in the early 80s and Drew was on the panel. Never forgotten how cold and unfriendly he was, looking down his nose.

Needless to say I was overlooked, a huge shame for all Aussie sports fans but a boon to the local council meetings in northern Tasmania which I used to report on for the local rag instead of calling the Olympics and suchlike. Really landed on my feet.
