Gary Ablett was amazing in 1983. Crowds were massive. He won a Final by kicking two goals in less than a minute as an onballer.
In modern times Glen Page, Tim Hargraves, Jason Wild and Chris Hyde have dominated the O&M. Craig Ednie is probably a different category as he returned to his home club from the AFL.
After writing this, I noticed more that Yarra have recruited a ton out of AFL. They have also had Fevola, Stevens, Petiffer and now have Mark Whiley and Sam Schulz.

Ablett played for Myrtleford yeah?

With restrictions going to remain in Victoria a lot longer than anywhere else, could the O&M consider a season played entirely in NSW? Would the Victorian clubs be in favour or prefer to not play at all?

How would it work?

Not sure, would Wang and Myrtleford be willing to travel just for training?

The easiest way would be ground sharing, each NSW club shares their ground for training and matches with a Victorian club.

When Wodonga plays a home game at Albury then they man the ground and collect the money as if it’s a home game.

It’d be a nightmare but might be the only hope of any football in 2020.

This would only harm the competition. Take a deep breath, calm down and see where we are at in month. Bigger issues to worry about than if footy goes ahead or not this year. Is it really that bad to put the feet up and see everybody in 2021?

You should probably get ya facts right..there was a couple of 3rds kids training seperately, one group of 2 had just finished another had just got back from a run together another group was just starting and they stopped for a chat on the ground..Then some goose takes a picture to cause trouble..Hows Jensens career going anyway ??

Won't be as strong now with the salary cap being cut in half

Rovers will be least affected by this, their main three recruits are former players/locals and then add cresswells son in to that mix, id say they’re all certain to stay.
Rovers have an advantage of securing young elite players because cresswell gives them a better chance at getting drafted or succeeding in the VFL, it’s not just about money for that demographic.
