You were obviously not at the game last night. Geelong were pretty poor at finding targets for the majority of the game, didn't really stick to their 'handball-happy' game plan and composed players such as Scarlett and Mackie looked wanting for composure at crucial times.

They had more clangers than your team who was absolutely woeful with their disposal at times, and still managed to come back when you guys had your foot on their throat.

Very "un-Geelong-like" performance, I'd bet they're beaming that they got away with playing like that and still won comprehensively.

I was at the game and did you even read my post. I said Geelong looked as lost as we did at times BUT when it counted they hit targets.
On TV you only see the area around the ball, you dont see how they spread when it counted. They didn't have a graet game but we were pathetic. My whole point was that Bongboy seems to think that Geelong were cruising and if that was the case they should have been cleaner from the start or smacked us by a lot more. I think the clangers both teams made, showed the pressure that was out there, it was just the better team held their nerve and worked for each other more.
But to say they were in "cruise control" is insulting to not just mine but both teams and shows just how little he knows about the game.

Which is, simply, not true. They used the ball more for proportionately less inside 50s, and didn't even manage to break even at stoppages.

In one sense, Geelong 'cruised' as soon as they got their 11 (?) point margin in the third.

The game was over.

From that point one could argue they may well have been in "cruise control".
I guess it depends on your definition.

It was actually you guys who were "insulting".
You caught them on an off night, a game that at one stage had your name written all over it, and for all the huff and puff of Maxwell and co, you failed to deliver.

Anyways, don't argue with someone of 'Bongboy's' ilk, they will 'only bring you down to their level'.

Murphy does pretty much the same as a home and away game. Hahn is hit and miss at the best of times. Griffen, lol you have no idea.

I didnt feel at any stage we would win this game and as someone mentioned earlier we were subdued, we never took the game on, just accepted our fate meekly.

Basically we dont have the required talent in the front half to beat the top sides defences.
