Watching the Keith Greig one again. When he said there was a season where He and Ron Barassi hated each other so much (or words to that effect) that they didn't talk for a whole season. Reminds me so much of my current boss, that I just avoid him like the plague and it makes my day so much easier.

I groaned when I saw Dal Santo's name and haven't bothered watching it yet. In my opinion, there should be a pretty compelling reason to put a current, or just-retired player on Open Mike and Dal Santo isn't that player, as far as I'm concerned. A very good player, but just not especially interesting, at least as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not sure Open Mike is the right stage for subjects like tonight's either. Best of luck to Ollie Florent in his career and all, but I'm not interested in an 18 year old seventh gamer appearing on Open Mike.

I think it probably has something to do with him already being under contract to Fox Footy and just having to walk onto the set from whatever other set he's just been dribbling crap on.

Greig wasn't Robinson Crusoe in that respect....Quite the opposite in fact.....Barassi was a hard-taskmaster, a perfectionist; & a conceited, egotistical, loud-mouthed prick.

Yep agreed. And i think Denis Pagan and Malcolm Blight (two of his disciples) pretty much copied his coaching style.

I'm astounded Mike even got through the whole interview. Jackson is a bully. Not one single club would take him on an AFL list if he was playing these days purely because of his attitude and how he treats people. It doesn't matter how good you are or if you average more goals a game than Buddy does, not one single club would even consider having a dickhead like that on their list.

debateable. Brendan Fevola ring any bells champ? Some teams now would Give Jacko a shot, especially if they need a goal kicker.

Lol you're actually serious? Comparing Jacko to Fev is stupid. Fev was no where near as bad as that guy.
