Poison needle trap, DC Dex 19, 4d8 poison damage on a fail, poisoned condition. That'll stop his drunk little ass.

Laura Kane definitely gets off watching herself talk on camera. When she got Benny's dregs she said the fans wanted more visibility from AFL house. We want transparency and explanations...... still waiting on the zapruder footage of Lynches goal from the Brisbane final... any day now I'm sure. I'm pretty sure no footy fans were adamant on seeing this egomaniacs head sprouting off ad nauseam. I swear she dragged this finlayson nonsense out just so she could give hourly press conferences about it.
shes a campaigner

I will hold my judgement on gather round until after I’ve gone, which is on my agenda for next year. I don’t think it’s a TV product as such… it’s a festival of footy and I don’t think it’s reasonable to knock it until you try it.

The AFL have never come up with an original idea in their life. This is a straight rip of what the NRL did yeah?

How many years will it be until they copy the NBA and do a "in-season tournament?" My guess is 5

I'm really not sure where we ended up at a point where calling someone who is not gay a "******" gets your 3 weeks, but taking cocaine gets you AFL assistance in covering your tracks to avoid detection.

Kinda reminds me of a Dave Chappelle comment about why the trans movement has made such quick and easy progress while the conditions of black people has been a slow, century long struggle. You gotta assume that the rich white people in power, are the ones who want it that way, as it works for them.

But it’s ok to run a drug program to avoid detection from the world body responsible for identifying drug use within professional sport . 🤦‍♂️ 😂
Call me old fashioned or what ever else you wish but I prefer a society where drug use is judged harsher than name calling . I’m yet to know of anyone robbing people for the purpose of fueling their addiction to name calling .

We all poke fun and call into question the drug program until it's one of our players getting a 3 yr ban for snorting a bit of coke.

It might not be a good look but it's probably saved countless careers.

You are spot on and also if world war 3 broke out none of these young ones would go to war they prefer climate change war
Why the **** should they go to war? This thread is a flipping shambles and dead set embarrassing for a lot of ppl

Every generation hates the next, always has been always will be.

Words have meaning though.

If you had a disabled kid, would you like someone using the R word around them? TO them? I don't think so.

Its not being scared of words, it's not wanting them used when the meaning of those words and the harm they can cause to others is well known by the people using them...

Context is a word too. People seems to forget it's meaning these days. Pretty soon the word will be wiped from woke existence.

This make me think of when Dimma called our whole playing group a bunch of f...... useless c.... after losing Dreamtime in his last game as coach last year to as Dimma put it a bunch of Essendon spuds. Just imagine if one of the players had gone to the AFL citing workplace abuse by their boss using the mental health card. Cotch in his book admitted to being surprised by Dimmas rant but I reckon the playing group took it into context as Dimma just losing the plot in the heat of the moment. I reckon Dimmas ego got in the way when he lost it. I'm not saying it was wrong or right but pretty much that's what the world has now come to these days. Like you said, words will no longer exist one day.

Going through the s*t at home now , my partners 25 year old who owns his own home I might add has decide to move in within us , I went to clean out his room which is a pigsty and 14 half empty bottles of water 9 half empty cans of cone and 18 half empty beer cans , can’t say anything to him because he has “mental health issues “lazy little campaigner and I wouldn’t mind if he ed drank the things takes a sip grabs another one , so I stopped buying and my partner got up me , * another month of this and a 12 year relationship is gone , the little campaigner left to live with his dad at 15 so my other half was paying 300 bucks a week child support , now she’s waiting on hand and foot , last ** Thursday the little prick wanted me to drive him to his doctors to get a script for his Valium which I believes works really well with a skin full of beer.

Sat morning I get up go to the bar room and my bottle of dimple and makers mark are ******* drained empty , as well as half a bottle of rum, he’s taking the piss I’m just about done .

And haven’t you had your own health issues too SB? You don’t need this shit as well. Hope things improve for you soon.

Honestly, who cares if it’s a rip off of an idea from someone else? If it works and people love it then why would anyone care where the idea came from?

Spot on … there’s so much ignorance from ‘Joe public’ in relation to why this program is in place it’s not funny.

They do hair testing and then target testing so they can identify the players who are partaking in illicit drug use. The players only agree to the drug testing out of competition on the condition of anonymity.

So without anonymity the players wouldn’t agree to be tested out of competition. Then we’d be in a situation where over the last 10-years we’d probably have seen anywhere from 20-50 players receive 2-4 year suspensions.

You might say that’s just bad luck, if you’re stupid enough to do illicit drugs and run the gauntlet then you deserve the punishment.

However, I’m too old to know what’s going on with the younger generation, but from what I know that’s absolute pie in the sky to think 20, 30, 40% of young males are using illicit substances, but young AFL players who are already prone to risk taking activities, are needing to keep weight off, have lots of money and time on their hands are not going to partake. We have to be realistic.

So knowing there will be AFL players taking drugs, and knowing if they get caught in competition they’ll get a 2-4 year suspension, what program can we implement to ensure players are protected from career ending suspensions? And that’s where we are.

So we need to be careful what we wish for. Zero tolerance may see any number of players gone from the game in the blink of an eye.

I believe the system can be improved, but people need to understand the players themselves have agreed to be hair tested and target tested- this is not a WADA initiative, the players have volunteered for this. Take away the anonymity, take away the protection for players, and this testing will be gone and players careers .. including many Tiger champs ….will be over.

That's not what the AFL told us though is it. They omitted the part about them condoning private testing to help players avoid their stated policy. You can argue all you like about the merits of what they are doing, whether it's good for the sport, for players careers, etc but what you can't argue with is that the sport is run by administration that has lied with impunity about what they are doing to every stakeholder and only come clean when they got caught. This is about the integrity of the AFL itself not the drug program. What else are they lying about?

If you think the AFL gives a shit about the players you are so far off the mark, all it cares about is the AFLs squeaky clean image , they also DONOT want asada/WADA meddling in their affairs , this thing was not put in place by Dillon , but by Gilligan who was the corrupt campaigner that appointed “the independent “ afl tribunal that found the later convicted 33 drug cheats innocent . It too a panel outside the AFL s influence to cone to that finding .

The CFL do not want spotlights shown on them , no different from the NRL another,Australian sporting body who doesn’t want any outside interference with their betting partners .
