Abasi from Hawks Board:

Geelong winning tonight sets it up beautifully.

Cats supporters will be thinking the flag is there's, they'll be getting excited....

They will fall in a heap in the finals

This in a thread on the umpiring board about players sticking their knees out when flying for marks...

It's a Geelong tactic under Chris Scott. Hawkins is the best exponent of it and used to great effect QF 2016.

It's dirty and should be looked at closely.

It probably wouldn't surprise anyone that it was posted by a Hawks fan.

Hawthorn supporters bitterly dissappointed - in fact they are disgusted with Port Adelaide

The Hawk/Maybloom supporters were out of their chairs =- pleading with The Power - at the death - kick another goal - kick another goal

The reason being - the 115 point margin in the Powers favours falls an agonising 2 points short of their record winning margin in AFL -

Of course their record winning margin in the AFL is 117 points - back in 2005 when they smashed the horrible Hawks

So the Hawthorn Football Club remain in Ports record books - for the biggest annihilation theve handed out in their AFL history .

I was laughing at the Hawks board and saw this gem in response to someone saying he admired the Cats for what we have done since 06

Oh I agree Geelong have done well for themselves - by throwing away their future on a handful of mature-age mercenaries who'll allow them to make up the numbers a little while longer. Meanwhile their youth is close to the worst in the league and depth wafer thin.

Could have sworn this nuff nuff was talking about his own club :D

This on the Giants board.

I'm confused by tonight's game. Only 30K supporters at Kardinia, so does their next game get moved?

Last night's crowd was 9000 more than that was at the GWS-Bulldogs prelim last year.

Those campaigners are lucky to even be playing finals.

1 point win over North - North up by 25 at 3 quarter time and choke.
2 point win over Freo - At Simmonds, Freo $10 to win before the game, up by 19 points at 3 quarter time and choke.
3 point win over Hawks - Hawks up by 5 at the half then kick 5.7 to Cats 7.3 in the second half.
2 point win over Port - At Simmonds, Port down by 5 at 3 quarter time then kick 2.4 to Cats 2.1 in the last.
Draw v GWS - Cats up by 13 at 3 quarter time, GWS kick 3.3 to Cats 1.2 in the last. Not surprisingly Hawkins shot to level the scores after the siren comes off a poor deliberate free kick against GWS.

We lost all our close games, with bullshit going against us, still equal on wins.

us being able to win close games and them not means theyre better than us apparently

im sure that will help them in finals

Found this gem from a Carlton supporter on the Bay.

"Billie Smedts must be the most ridiculous acquisition for any team. Offers nothing. I'd rather have gotten pick 150 back instead. At least guys like Rhys Palmer we got so we could get Marchbank and Pickett cheaper. At least Dale Thomas has well, at least he's not as shit.
Every round Smedts plays he should be nominated."

Love how on the main board they equate having a superior percentage than us means they're better than us too. They neglect the fact we're the only team to play both Adelaide and GWS twice, and they played both once.

"Things are falling into place for them. They get to play the worst second place team in AFL/VFL history away on their home ground."

"So if Geelong win the GF we can say they never deserved it and the only reason they won is because of the bye.

Who am I kidding. Geelong are no shot at winning it either way"

Pardon the intrusion fellas, but out of interest who will be in charge of stopping DangerWood? Limit their influence and you'll win by 60+ imo, they are a two man team.

A Bulldogs supporter on Richmond's board, seemingly unaware that one half of our 'two man team' didn't play against the Tigers three weeks ago...
