My rough and unscientific opinion


Adelaide … lazy effort. Paid up for a flukey homesick forward pocket
Brisbane… Gunston a good short term replacement for mcstay. Dunkley an important get. Loaded up on points.
Carlton… lazy. Picked up a journeyman. Have locked away their futures on a few big names
Essendon. Meh. Too distracted
freo. Why do so many players want to leave? O Meara a mistake. Jackson is a gun
Geelong. Picked up pick 7 and three VFL players. Lost a VFL player and most of next years picks.
Gold Coast . They only exist to spoon feed Geelong.
Gws. Salary dump of the magnitude of Collingwood 2020… but they aren’t Collingwood so nobody gives a rats. They only exist to spoon feed Richmond. And Geelong.
Hawthorn. Sam Mitchell hates Clarkos guts. Not sure he’s a fan of Tom Mitchell either.
Melbourne. Did well. Gawn is their new full forward though! Scache could turn into a surprisingly good pickup.
North. Got rid of a petulant sook, traded pick 1, and got. 2 3 and a top ten next year in return. Two good dockers players… and missed out on another good player because StKilda are morons.
Port. All their eggs throw in the Horne Francis basket. Paid up for Rioli too. Risky strategy. Got no picks to take to the draft.
Richmond. Great. Maybe the winners.
StKilda. Why are they still here?
Sydney. Obviously content with their list. A mistake made regularly by teams that make the gf and think they don’t need to improve.
West coast. Bit players. Relying on the draft
Bulldogs. Lots of turnover, probably went backwards and hoping on the next two drafts to improve. Lost two important midfielerss… last man standing is Treloar! Bevo seems to have trouble every year retaining good players

What a lot of twaddle. Recruited 3 guys who aren't regular senior players and got lucky with the Bowes deal and pick 7.
Got reamed in the Ollie deal if you count the cost of what they gave up.
Bunch of tossers along with Barrett who is the circle jerkmaster who thought of this.
