If Port have offered $800k a year to Sav, then they're clearly delusional about this guy's value and potential. Not sure what they'll offer to the Cats, don't think it will be much, as they don't have much room currently in terms of picks - doubt it would be a FR pick as they don't have one this year and I believe that they'll need AFL approval if they want to trade next year's FR.

Geez with the amount of angst, drivel and unrepentant and unjustified hatred towards Maynard this week from Melb supporters, ex players and officials, I have just realised why we hated this club for years and years, irregardless our losses in finals.
Have these cronies ever realised this is a very vigorous game and occasionally incidents unavoidable do happen.
We ain’t playing croquet or pétanque here.
Effing deluded dimwits.
This is reignited my dormant dislike for this mob, almost pains me to barrack for the scum on Fri nite.

Yeah, I don't think Lions would be shaking in their boots about meeting either of those 2.

Lions will have only played 2 easy games in over a month .. if we meet them in the GF, hopefully they are so under done, they poop their pants when we come at them with our insane pressure & intensity.

I saw enough in our hit out against them back in round 22(?) at Marvel to be assured that we can take them on at The 'G'. On that occasion they were in red-hot form and we had at least four of our best 22 out (with arguably our best 3 players out) and we stayed in touch. The third term alone had me comfortable that we would find a way to win when at the Big Dance.
Bring them on!!

Or how about when the Bombers missed last year. Instead of us taking it coast to coast for a match winning goal to Elliott, they call for a review and kill the game. Definitely don't want that coming in. Reviewing while the game's going on then rewinding time if a mistake is found also doesn't sound good to me.
