And yet they still beat us. Damn old duck still got it apparently.Probably played their granny against us.
BT called him Ben Reid twice in quick succession.Ben Reid had a good game tonight.
0 commentary, nothing said. Standard. Saw another incident where Marshall was hip and shouldered in head after a mark, play on..Judson clarke did a Ginni. Doubt we'll hear about that though like Ginni does in everything he does.
doesnt play for collingwood.0 commentary, nothing said. Standard. Saw another incident where Marshall was hip and shouldered in head after a mark, play on..
Yes Jen, but the more important thing isnt what the commentators didnt say, it was the fact a free was paid!!Judson clarke did a Ginni. Doubt we'll hear about that though like Ginni does in everything he does.
Prob 2 issues here Domus, one is just plain howlers. As you say the Gibcus one could have cost the game, just as the below the knees against Moore almost did cost us the game last week. I come from a view that the objective shoulb be to get every call right. The view that players make errors, umps can as well; or that its an imperfect game etc etc just gives a starting point of acceptance of errors and near enough is good enough. In a highly professional game, it just isnt. Lets take a view that we are helping ups, not bagging them. Easiet approach is to elimate the howlers ( or which there seem to be each match ) with a captains call NRL style. This would have picked up errors V Moore/Ginni and tonight the free to Gibcus.I can't stomach the umpiring this season. The free to Gibcus was a shocking decision and it is becoming common. Even in slow mo you could not pick up any infringement, yet it might cost Port the game. How can the umpires be at this level and have literally zero feel for the game? The fifty metre penalty which led to the Graham goal was another mind blowing moment. The Port player was ten metres away yet was told he infringed the protected area. The player supposedly infringed had no idea he was there. How can these interpretations be seen by Brad Scott every week and given the tick of approval Our game is becoming farcical. Imagine trying to explain this shit to a person who is new to the game?
I hope the crowds continue to drop as this is the only way the disgraceful new interoperations might be reviewed.
It was embarrassingly bad but I don’t want Carlton finishing top 4I’ve never wanted Cartlon to win more in my life after watching that excruciating Essendon pregame wankfest.

They’ll turn it around. Give them another 25 years.Essendon are terrible.
