Would love to see the afl give some scrutiny to the subbing off of Ben Miller. That would top off the result.

They should bin the sub rule completely. Just bring back the original “ green vest” sub rule. If the coaches burn their sub too early for tactical reasons and they then get some injuries or concussions…. Too bad.

Why not just have 4 or 5 on the interchange and no sub rule. Injuries have been part of the game forever
Draw is the ultimate win win result for Collingwood. We can still move past Freo…. And Richmond can still drop out of the eight!

True too but I don’t mind the sub concept.
But making it conditional on players being injured just opens it up to abuse. Seen it many times this year. Collingwood took cox off when conditions didn’t suit. North took Stevo off when he got a tip in race seven at Caulfield and wanted to watch the race.

I think a sub makes sense if there's no red card type rule. Try and mitigate the advantage a club might get if one of the opposition players gets knocked out, for example.

This and keep the same rotation caps. That way even if one side has an extra player on the bench, they aren't advantaged. It also brings back the opportunity to fairly bench an under performing player for a quarter or so.

Watching the Sydney game, put that down as a loss for us. Umpires , Crowd & commentators are the most bias in the country by the length of a JDG night out!
