I have no idea but history tells us that most mids taken in the first round play a lot of AFL footy in their first year.

No worries Daz. I just thought, given our starting 22 is more or less settled, and there seems to be some consensus on the top 15 or so you might have a view.

Kennedy, Stringer and Garlett all would get close to starting in our side round 1

I am wondering wouldn't it be to big a forward line in Tarrant, Petrie & Hansen what do people think? Have Tarrant in the back line as it would give us a bit of height and help Thompson out against Lynch and in the forward line have Gibson as a smaller forward and put Attley on the interchange bench to come on for fresh legs. I think Tarrent is a better backmen as I think he reads the play better in the backline more then the forward line. That is only my opinion.

We played our best footy this year with the three talls up forward. Tarrant needs to be developed into a proper forward. The only one I could see dropping back is Hansen, but he's probably a better fit up forward too.

The best arrangement is Hansen and Tarrant playing out of the square and Petrie playing at CHF.

The question is will the two ruckman setup work with Goldy/Daw ?
As it mostly didn't with HMac, apart from a few games.

I would love to see Daw play in round 1.

I can't see Majak playing unless form or injury curtail Petrie, Goldstein Hansen or Tarrant.

He'll get a few token games at best.

What I like most is Wright at half-foward.

From that line-up on the website, looks like Hansen will dominate when Johnson goes to him.

I'm warming to the idea of playing Hansen or Tarrant in defense and bringing Black, Curran or Daw into the forwar line. Like most, I think Gysberts will play Rd 1 and only one of Gibson, Anthony or Greenwood will be in the team. Mullet, Kennedy, McKenzie, Richardson, c Delaney & pick 15 will be pushing as we'll.

My guess would be Kennedy, If we land him we'll have done well.
