Good question - I was writing up my notes from a meeting at the same time so only partly paying attention. Possobly also temporary insanity.

Not that interested in how many calls and text Manure makes a day or what football dept gives him his best info. Even less fascinated by Dal speculating on how the Saints managed to lose games with Hamill, Gehrig, Kossy, Rooey and Stevie Milne in the forward line.

Hocking being pushed to the front by the advertiser this morning. Really?
Pushed out of the main coaching group at Port into the SANFL team, then out of the AFL structure entirely to South where he did nothing much, then to Collingwood where he was pushed out of the AFL panel into the VFL again after two years.
This is a guy who is a proven flop. Why oh why would he be even interviewed?

I agree and you have outlined it pefectly. The VFL role at Collingwood would be about 5 down the chain. Young guys who need the experience coaching their own team do it but not someone who has been in the system that long. Collingwood and other clubs clearly don't rate him that highly. He would be trying to get an Assistant's role, not a senior gig.

Completely agree. I just had to make a quick drive for work, thought I'd chuck on Trade Radio for a quick listen - after listening through what felt like 10 minutes of ads, they came back to talk about Love Island... TR is laughably bad.

Yep.

I mean head coach and fitness teams and recruitment teams you can see the results. Proof is in the pudding.

But we really have NFI what each assistant does and how well they're doing it.

Sure we can say our forward line isnt working, so is that the fwds coach issue or is it the fact that we're not winning enough clean ball in the midfield.
