Lynch will be gone in a couple years. Lefau coming off his 2nd ACL. Kosi, depth at best. Bauer, Fawcett and Gray unknowns at this stage.

Balta is locked in long term, hopefully down back. Gibcus coming off 2 significant injuries but hopefully has a very successful career. Miller probably pushed out of the side once some better options develop. Young coming off a knee. High hopes for a Blight and Trainor.

Nank the only solid ruck atm. Ryan, who knows. Colina and Hayes Brown - very long shots but pretty sure Soldo was a Cat B at one stage so they could be a chance.

Very happy we drafted some new KP talent in this draft.
Yes I agree that most likely fawcett amd the 2024 draftees show more than kosi and Gray, with the same in defende with young and blight. Balta settling at FB is the big win from last night, hopefully gibcus and trainor around him. If they do then we can double down on the draftees and focus on drafting the smaller players. Our next premiership team should.be roughly in place draft night 2025. It's a shame we have 2 great picks next year but none after that as we can't turn many over unless another older player goes for a couple of picks. If Samson does develop this year maybe it's the year he heads back north and we go with sims in his spot

Yep. Most likely trade potential

I couldn't be happier with all the talls we just recruited. At full strength and fitness in 2 years Balta, Gibcus and Trainor can form an unbelievably good core of tall defenders. Balta can stop getting mucked about and take the gorillas, Gibcus the taller types like Darcy, Kings etc and Trainor go about his business taking the 3rd tall. All can intercept and their point of differences mean depending who we play one could play more loose interceptor.

I think Kozi is now banished to the backline to sink or swim. Young gets recovery time and will most likely be leapfrogged soon. Miller will become surplus and some desperate team will give a pick 30 for him. (Ratogalea fetched 25, 76 and 94)

In a perfect world Lynch's injury woes are behind him and hopefully he can play 2 more years 30 games and pass on his knowledge to the next generation. He needs to be played more stay at home and let the other blokes do the running. Fawcett is out of contract 2025 so if he shows nothing potentially delisted or another year on peanuts. Bauer will get plenty of opportunities. Hopefully Lefau is firing at some point after the mid season bye.

The 3 new KPF will be given all the time in the world to develop and given tastes of senior footy, the most ready potentially playing 10+ games next year. We only need 2/3 to be hits and can lock down our spine for next 10+ years. Even if one's not quite up to AFL but is regularly kicking bags in the magoos Tassie or another club will pay a pick 10 - 15 for a ready made KPF with 3 years development.

If injury concerns are mostly over now Louie the butchers gone, we can focus on drafting speedy/ skilled mids, wingers etc next 2 drafts and bounce back.

Samson either lifts with the added competition or he's goneski. Hopefully the 3 years was because it was low $$$'s. If he's still useless this year a long term ruck becomes priority as Nanks crash and Bash will cut his career short.... he's 31 next year will be a miracle if he lasts beyond 2026.

Can't believe we landed all the talent we did in one draft. Lalor and Smillie were meant to be. And all bar Jonty were sliders, who'd have thought Armstrong as late as 23 when most thought top 8 with Dees or Saints. Can't wait to hear Talking Tigers to hear Blair talk, especially on the Faull rationale. Hopefully our VFL get plenty of games on TV cos it's gonna be an epic rebuild.

Had SFA talls now going to be having a liquidation sale over the next season or two.

Clubs will be circling all the tall forwards wave taken as they won't all get games.

Managers will be on the phone before too long.

Tigers got to work this one trough smartly over the next 2 -3 seasons.

Luckily most of them are contracted for 3 years due to being 1st rounders....

By then Lynch, Colina, Kosi and OHB will all be gone plus probably at least one of Gray, Fawcett Blight, Bauer. Balance will be restored.

And we should give them all 2 year extensions straight off the bat

KPF should all be getting 5 year deals as they take 3-5 years just to get the body right and strength to play the role

I think this is why we signed Sampson for so long.
Clubs always come calling for talls. He may get us late 3rd rounder.
