We’ve literally got Melbourne’s F1 (potentially a top 5 pick) + 28 for 13 on the table. Even if we don’t have Norths F1 that’s an incredible offer.

Look Noble is a decent player and I would want him, but that’s negligence by us if we don’t take that offer if yours is only 13 & 23 for Noble & F1.

We could get Melb F1 + 28 and then offer you 23 for Noble, and we still come out of that way better even if you don’t ask for 23.

And if you want to hold Noble sure that’s fine, but again, we have a potential top 5 pick plus a 2nd rounder on the table for just 13. We have to take that.

We wont take 23 for Noble. Perhaps you shouldn't be chasing players under contract then trying to get them for nothing.

What makes it incredible? Only your assumption Melbourne could drop down near bottom four. I could tell you Collingwood could do that.

Suns are currently involved in a multi club deal where every club wants something from the other. You'll need a compelling reason to blow that up and move to separate deals. Not sure this is it.

You really banking on Melbourne falling that far? Petracca and Oliver turn up cherry ripe round 1 and they could be right up there again and you're looking at a teens pick anyway. Id say this is more of a chest puff to Collingwood to stump up more
I mean Melbourne was 14th this year and have all the signs of a club about to implode and finish bottom 4, especially if Oliver leaves. You are a good chance of rebounding back to top 4, especially if you get Houston.

Sure it’s still probability, but their F1 has much, much more value than yours (which is good for you for competing next year, just not for trade value)

Bit of a gamble to take to sacrifice a best 22 player that you've offered 3 years to. Noble and Rioli on back flanks would have Dimma thinking about a 4th flag and a 3rd wife

Pies finished 9th and have an older list. I don't think there's much different in the prospects of Dees and Pies in 2025. Both are more likely to make the 8 than miss it, but it's an even comp

To be fair this is sort of true.

I think the think holding this Melb/GCS deal out is that the Suns know that Rioli + Noble zipping off the HB line will be a sight to see.

Let's just avoid pick 13 , and use F1 to get picks and manoeuver around to get a better draft hand. There are creative solutions to get a very good hand if Collingwood can just open their eyes and not get sucked into pick 13 sweepstakes.
