This is the whole point - Gold Coast keep crapping on about how incredible their other offers for the pick are... But they haven't traded it yet.
THEIR preference is obviously to do this three team deal with us and Port, and Port... Well, they've got players that they're trying to get from both us AND Port, and they're trying to burn bridges with both teams? Doesn't really seem like a viable strategy to get things done.
And they've got an obligation to both Lukosius and Richards because they outright went and convinced them to join them instead of rival offer (Adelaide for Lukosius and us for Richards). It would be unbelievably shitty to do that and then play such hardball that you don't get a deal done for either.

All you've got to do is just take two positions on the same situation and then alternate between them every 2 hours as your "sources" update you.
This cannot be stated enough. It's like life, usually to get something valuable you got to give something valuable.
