“Just packed the poncho and thermos” good idea, otherwise you’d be waiting for about half an hour to get a cup of anything at that miserable bloody ground.
Not correct today . Or any other time I have been there. Sat on the “ visitors “ side. Canteen fine. Admittedly couldn’t get a soy late 😀😅, but did have a pie (hot) , later a hot lamb roll( $5) , with white coffee ( instant but $2) . Very pleasant lady served . Short queues 😀👍. Plus they can’t see play from there , where as other canteen workers can at other grounds.

“I had to be held back, I was about to throw weight around”

Was it the same three people who had to hold you back when Will Nolan got belted?

Do these three travel with you wherever you go, for your protection, or the protection of the wider community if you’re let off the leash?

Are they friends of yours or do you hire your own security?

You’ve told us about your Irish whisky, had you been drinking today?
Can't we just let Geoff add plenty of mayo to his stories, they're far more entertaining

Ben Reid might have had a bigger impact on the game while taking control from the sidelines, the best coaches are in the box full time. Albury looked soft.

This might be the only decent post you or any of your aliases have made Big Laz... The IQ of the coaches box/ football department would have tripled today with Reidy's inclusion!

I had to be held back, I was about to throw weight around, had a very heated exchange with a few of their officials, who quickly retreated I might add. So much for community football, Albury just got beaten by a winless depleted Wang, the Tigers are pretenders, they won’t know what hit them come next weekend.

All I can picture is a Jerry Springer scene

There’s a real Harry Dunne Loyd Christmas feel about this.
Did you rock up in the hairy dog mobile?

Feeling like Lavi are knocking on the door despite their results. More scoring shots against top contender Rovers, on their deck, in a match that got away from them. Also look like they were more than competitive against the pigeons away from home? Think they will have a say yet in how this season goes.

They had their chances late Lavi, they’ll get better as the season goes on

My five take aways from Albury vs Wang
  • Albury were completely out coached
  • Money can’t by class
  • Moore is much better than Muller
  • Wang can still play off IF they sneak in the 5
  • Albury are more arrogant than we once thought.

I’m already excited for finals. Think the top 5 looks pretty even. Going to depend which sides are fit and firing come September.
Rounds 7-9 see the Dogs play Rovers, Albury and then Yarra. See where they are at after that

There's 6 teams that need to fit into 5, with myrtleford to cause a few costly upsets I'd think as well as north, even Raiders I'd Ellis yolmen has monster games

Wodonga have been super so far this season. They enter a tricky 3 games now off 2 byes. The Border Mail also said that Angus Baker has a serious injury to his hand. He is their best player by a mile.
If they can win one or two of the next games without him they deserve to be rated alongside the top sides.

Bewilders me how in the space of 4 weeks old mate “15 Aliases ” goes from potting every single footballer, administrator, water boys, volunteers and all their families from Wang, too praising their coach (who was said to make him pen multiple letters in crayon to the league about the treatment towards rovers players) and their team after beating Albury this weekend.
Where will the revolving circus take us next?

I was asked by club hierarchy to help analyse the match on the weekend, by doing this it’s important to leave grievances at the door and call it as you see it, this can’t be achieved through a bias lens as there’s a potential four points at play. As much as I despise those two clubs I feel I conducted myself in a professional manner. On a side note, Albury might want to invest in some more shelter, they left half the measly crowd in the weather, if only they had contacts in the construction industry.

It was the smallest crowd I’ve seen at an O&M game.
