There is a player shortage and they need to find 50 players.

Coming back as a single entity will be a tough task given the shortage of players at present statewide.
In the current climate, they would be best to follow the lead of Maryborough Rovers and Royal Park, who yesterday announced their intentions to merge after this season.
The mentality of 'let the others fold first' is harming football in the district but self-interest is clouding the judgement of some.

Understand the player shortage has hurt them but I feel the total lack of change rooms and club rooms after the floods was the final nail in the coffin. Will their rooms be repaired and up and running by November?

You can't have a town without a footy club can you?
Is there any point having two clubs go down the gurgler, for being stubborn, surely there's some serious discussions going on.
They need the AFLs help with clubrooms and grants to get a new building put up out of the flood zone.

I just want to highlight how I was laughed at and mocked in the chat by a few members, especially Peta dribble-mouth, for stating the Rovers had better local talent than the Maggies. Yet when the game was in the balance the local wang boys went missing… Rovers Young guns stood up and claimed what was theirs. Half back flank late last qtr Prime received a 20m foot pass and failed to control it and eventually fumbled the ball over the boundary line.
He then proceeded to have a crack at his teammate about the delivery... flapping his gums and throwing his arms up in the air.
This with about 5 minutes to go.
