Agree with the person who said Summer a few pages back.

In melbourne (not sure where else) the weather has been shit since the drought. 45 degrees one day, 15 the next.

Also, business and restaurants are on break so you can't do all the normal things you'd do in winter.

And the most important thing...there's no footy!

You have an android though
Yes. That doesn't make my statement any less true. I couldn't care less which phone I used. But most conversations will be "Eww you have an iPhone " Android users are the vegans of the phone world, they make sure you know they don't use an iPhone.

The only people who rate summer must live in nice climates, and have good air conditioning and a pool at home.
I rate summer but only have an air conditioner that doesn't really work that well because the remote is broken :(

But summer still rocks.

I have had too many sleepless nights with no air conditioning in 45 degrees to ever understand why people enjoy it. Summer under an air cooler kinds negates it. You don't actually like summer. You just like the sum being out. The sun comes out in spring and the temperature is much more bearable.

Also, most of ny wardrobe revolves around cooler weather. Hoodies, jackets, coats, etc.

Buy a fan.

I'm a lot more productive in summer.

I have no qualms with walking in heat either, in fact I like it in small doses.

It's so easy to just chuck on a pair of shorts, shirt and thongs.

Plus you can just walk around the house with underwear on.

Also so much easier to wake up as well.

And it doesn't go dark until like 9-10pm.

You can base a lot of activities around the good weather.

Ice cream tastes better

Most of that I agree with, except ice cream.

Ice cream ALWAYS tasted good.

Ice cream actually tastes better in cold weather When I lived in Russia there was nothing like having ice cream in -20 degrees weather.
Agreed, had it last year during winter in Japan and went down a treat.

May have been mentioned ....

Margaret River. Perth sorts go on and on (and on) about it. Windy, rocks everywhere, rips plus more than the odd noah.

I tend to walk around in shorts and t-shirt in the middle of winter anyway. And when I'm at home I still end up in just my jocks most of the time anyway.

Love summer though
