3 flags in 5 years expired 2 years ago as well

What a ****ing abortion.
He made the speech at the February 2021 AGM. He only got the gig in October 2020.

Maths and memory aren't your sweet spots.

He’s the driving force behind the current redevelopment and redevelopment of the Port Club.

He absolutely is the driving force kind of a guy.

Who do you think is driving these projects?

You are so far off base with these statements it’s laughable.
Did you go to The Precinct after the game?

I can definitely see Pet Premierships being a big part of next year's business plan.

They'll be counting plants next. Sign up a cactus!

3 flags in 5 years. Man that has aged horribly, wtf was that lol.

I actually thought at the time (still do) that it was a bold and courageous vision for the Club to move forward. The Club exists to win premierships so having a CEO who was bold enough at the time to put it out there in such a way I thought was reflective of the overall Club ethos. The issue though has been that the CEO has not been able to deliver on these goals, and yet all the main people in charge of delivering these results remain in power, as if the results don't actually matter.

Richo is a good person - but he's not a leader's arseh*le, and has absolutely zero idea on what a good footy department looks like and how a good one should function.

I know four different people who worked around him and then under him when he took over as CEO. They all left very soon after and to a man said his leadership skills and style were a big reason why.

Weren't they essentially a copy and pasted version of Richmond's goals? Lazy effort and no follow through. Apt.

Have heard exact opposite of Matthew being a good person from others on the Port board. Granted they are only anonymous internet people.

One of my clients at work is a managing director of a publicly listed company of which Richo is a reasonably sized investor. The gist from speaking to them (and people at Port) is that he's a good person, and relatively sharp when it comes to the details and minutiae of things, but he's not a leader's arseh*le and not someone you want driving the bus. He's an ideal 2IC, but that's where it ends.

Granted, the Club have had significant revenue increases with regards to sponsorship over the last few years, and I can't imagine that he as CEO has not had a reasonable role in delivering those sponsors.
