All the recently minted Matilda fans will watch and be spouting about what a magnificent game this has been.
I’m happy that they can be happy about it, because I’m watching an absolutely abysmal display of football, the dumb purist that I am. Am just trying to enjoy it for what it is, some goals however they come.

Great for the goals, but christ the defending has been at such a poor standard. Feels like a preseason match.
Would need to beat the USA in the last group game, hope Germany beat the USA later today, and then hope Zambia lose to Germany.
Top 2 in the group and the 2 best third placed teams go through. So a draw doesn't mean eliminated but makes it incredibly difficult.
