Liked Ethan’s game. Needs to get more of the ball but improving. What I have seen of him has real good agility, running power but a long kick.

Kuek is improving as well. Both been solid mid season pick ups that will play games next year.

I agree with others on Corbett. Just a middle of the road WAFL player. Can take a nice mark on the lead but really can’t see him playing a AFL game. If we’re struggling to delist players he would be an option to delist and move to rookie list along with possibly Wagner.

Thought Wagner had played quite well and is solid depth but Corbett for mine just meh.

Liked Hamling's game today. Blight was good too.
Stanley looks quite dynamic. Corbett can't kick for nuts, unfortunately. Shame he has nice hands. Think Sebit could be useful at afl level if he gets the right match-up, his defensive side has improved. Davies had a good last quarter but looked unwilling or too tired to follow up with his man. We already have enough of those. Just needs to get fitter and a little more desperate.
NOD had a good first half but faded, I think.

Got a great leg on him, remember reading when we drafted him, his former coach talking about the sound it makes when he connects with the ball, couldn’t hear it but could see that goal was always going to make the journey from 50 off a couple of steps.

Edit: exactly what we need, a mid who can bang them through from long range.

And pace!

Some of the Corbett fans are finally seeing what's been obvious for quite a while.

Some good signs from Stanley but predictably some go ott prematurely.

The experienced players in Wagner, Hamling and Wilson were good, Stanley showed a bit but otherwise nothing to get too excited about from a Freo pov. Banfield, Sturt and Reidy aren't AFL players, depth perhaps at the very best. NODs decline is concerning, Kuek and Davies were just ok. Draper wasn't missed.

We're so lucky that our injury list is in good shape because our depth is meh.

I have never watched a single WAFL game where NOD looks good. He was playing at this level in the WAFL last year too. Hardly a decline. It's simply a lack of pre season.

I have never watched a single WAFL game where NOD looks good. Why do you think that is? Surely a young player would be busting his arse to impress?
