Sharp was pretty average for the 2.5 1/4s I watched.
Walker doesn’t seem to have lost any mobility or pace.
Voss will kick a bucket of WAFL goals. I like what I’ve seen but not sure if he’s got all the required AFl Attributes. He will get a chance this season.

Depending on your view point.
Don’t blame me for the injuries as I had left the ground.
Or
Blame me for the injuries because I left the ground.
😁😜

Walker and Voss da boss in then.

Need them both against Brissy.

Walker looks underdone. He’s very good a grabbing the ball b4 being tackled to the ground for a ball up. Wagner looked more assured when he was out there though there was no trademark run out of defence. Voss looked ok as an option though Peel has spread their goal kicking around so not that dominant. Knobel looks great, can’t wait until he starts coming into consideration.

Walker still has to play for mine. I'd certainly rather him than Ethan Hughes playing.

Pretty sure they’re both playing round one tbh.

Wagner getting injured has pretty much assured Hughes is in.

Pearce, Cox, Ryan, Clark, Aish, Walker and Hughes - that’s the back seven right there unless Cox doesn’t get up. Anyone who says that’s not the best available back seven (short of moving Young back) is wrong too.

Chapman to replace Hughes when fit and that's the best we can get.

Can't wait for a fit Chapman. Hughes is s**t
Hughes has worked his arse off to get the most out of his ability and you call him shit.
This says a lot about your character.
Not everyone can be a superstar but having keyboard warriors disrespect them like that is beyond pathetic.

BTW, saw Peter Bell at the game. Not wearing any footy colours (tho with backpack initalled "PB"). Can anyone confirm his current status with Freo?

Also, there's the fact that he IS shit of course. Did he say he hates the guy, no... Don't get so offended petal

What if Cox is fit and they play him as an intercept defender who matches up on the third tall. They can then play Macdonald instead of Hughes which id prefer.

Pretty harsh mate. That ‘keyboard warrior’ has been gifting us all pre season training reports for years and is far from the only person on here that thinks our best 22 has moved past Hughes.

He's been on our list for years and he's never been better than depth. Last year on the wing he was a liability. It's a fact.

If you expect posters to only say positive things about him because he tries hard then you need to toughen up.

If our ball movement from the back half is bad normally wait until you see it with three KPDs and Luke Ryan all playing in the same defence…

We saw how bad it was early 2022 with Pearce, Cox, Logue and Ryan in the same side. Moving Logue out of the backline was one of things that got our season going after a bad loss in Round Two. Logue’s mobility compared to those other three and Oscar McDonald was elite (maybe harsh on Pearce) - if it was ever going to work with three KPDs and Ryan there was the opportunity but it still sucked.
