If anything the game showed that we are two key position players short of being able to win the flag.The fact that we had to play Maynard on Franklin and the under sized Johnson as full forward just shows how short of key position players we are.It’s a miracle we got as far as we did this year with the lack of key position players on our list.

Pendles backwards handball to Noble signified our night.

When we went forward, we scored. Everytime we went sideways or backwards, we didn’t.

I thought Noble wasn't running in anticipation of the footy, whereas Pendlebury was trying to draw the pressure to release runners (as he always does). Think Noble could/should have been there

Can't blame <30 gamers in Johnson and Bianco for the loss. They'll be better for the experience. If anything the biggest disappointment was JDG. If he had anywhere near his expected output, we win that game.

Nevertheless, biggest feeling is one of pride. And the best enjoyment I've gotten out of a season.

Future is bright. Pendles going strong as ever and we're not that reliant on Sidey/Howes output anymore. Should have many more years of contending.

Was never our game - didn’t turn up / got going too late
Diff to losing when it’s goal for goal — doesn’t hurt as much as giants in 19
Never led and nearly pinched it but while we were fantastic in the last (and bit of 3rd), wish we didn’t need to have to go that well again / and prob Swans stopped a bit

Loved watching footy this year - brought my passion back after 2018 and the dourness that was hanging around

We were poor for large patches of the match and didn't really deserve to win, but geez, the effort to come back at the end was amazing.

Great games to Quaynor, Crisp, Pendles and Moores second half just gets me excited at the prospect of him being freed up with another key defender back there to take the big guys.

Because everybody has no idea…just general peanut punters around here.

I suggested resting players in the lead up to finals…that was also a stretch too far. Would have been a vastly different prospect if we had a fit list.
