Yeah but what happens when she hits the terrible twos???

Amazing he had only 8 disposals, what an impact. Seems like he was everywhere.
Goes to show that stats are often overrated. Last night being a prime example, with SPP’s game - minimal disposals, maximum impact. The kind of game that gets the whole team uplifted. That mark he took against 3 Dogs players near the goal square, was just as spectacular as a hanger, and more worthy than any mark given to players passing back and forth with 15m kicks.

Huge game today.

Work rate has been outstanding and now seems to last till the final siren.

The undersized ruck roll has been a really good call - well done coaches.

Pep would have to be close to top of best and fairest this year. Has been huge and probably one of a handful of players that has actually been good and tried hard every game.

who would have thought SPP would play a ruck role this year?

he is a beast in every contest
Certainly a clever plan from the coaches and, I don’t think, it would have happened if Lycett kept on. The mix of second ruckman Marshall, SPP and Finlayson +\- Dixon means Hayes can just work solely on ruck work as he builds his tank and SPP being in the mix adds a different dimension to the set ups and doesn’t rob us of a tall forward.

Playing well no doubt.
But the folly of using him as a chop out ruck was evidenced when the Cats twice had no nominated ruck ans Sam couldn't provide us with any clearance advantage either time.

9 disposals, 2 tackles, a couple of hit outs.. it's not really inspiring stuff
Probably his quietest game all year.

I'm totally perplexed with his lack of midfield time though. We publicly put the heat on him at the end of last season to pull his finger out n get fit so he can play midfield. He's done precisely that and he's still playing off HF. His added fitness has obviously helped him this year, but why publicly roast him when we aren't giving him a chance?
