He looked almost ... bored? Not a trace of nerves, not even a trace of excitement. Looked like he was trundling out for his 200th game, not his 2nd. Business as usual.

Whether he'll make it or not I don't know, but if he doesn't it certainly won't be for lack of confidence.

When we drafted him, he had that exact same look about him.

He’s just a very laid back person.

Before Robbie Gray’s farewell match last year, I caught a bit of the SANFL Showdown beforehand and he looked very good playing in the backline that day.

His first game for us is the family day scratch match when he slots a lazy 3 by 1/2 time. 600+ days later he plays his 2nd game.

No knee injury just left to play in the Maggies year in year out. Fitness was the reason given and Bassett not rating him.

Besides his stuttering run up for shots on goal, talent and confidence wasn't an obvious weakness. Drafted as a mercurial forward he's left

to rot until a call up last week. There's a swagger to him that I really like and i'm glad he didn't check out on us.

Onya Dyls now show us just how good you are. I noticed Donuts hugged you at the end so maybe some underlying issue has been sorted.

He just looked like a super organised and neat footballer who reads the play well and makes good decisions with the ball. Is this how he has played in the sanfl since moving to defence?
Fitness and desire are the attributes I want to see more of, actual talent is not in question. Go you good thing.

Played well again when he came on as sub against the Eagles.

He might be slow but he is a natural footballer and reads the play well. Is a better kick than what I saw of him playing for the Maggies at Alberton over the last few years.

I think its that terrible set shot run up that has influenced my opinion about his kicking, but he is a good long kick and hit targets with his 45 degree short passes.

It's been a slow burn, but Dylan has found his place. So composed overhead and at ground level with a scything kick that hits targets all over the ground.

Said to a mate he’s everything we wanted DBJ to be in that role

Shouldn’t go out for a decent time now
