Now that is worthy of a head shake.Had my first headshake @ Tredders last night in a while, they were talking about Durs coming back & he said does it squeeze Dyls out.. lunacy
Wasn't it, didn't realise he could change direction that quickly & that often. I always relax when he has the ball. Has such a high football IQ & his disposal is beautiful to watch. His twinkle toes to evade 3 players was awesome.
Over time I have become concerned about Georgies decision making & overall football IQ.Rocci’s article sounded like a buttering up for him to leave.
I don’t mind him leaving, he’s got skills but zero brain, gutted we get nothing for him though.
Memories. Loved watching him play.Very good again. Always seems to find time to get a long kick away under pressure. Great composure.
Reminds me of another fine Port Adelaide hbf #23, Tony Giles.
Kane has improved a lot but I still think he's had quite a few games this year with too many disposal errors under limited pressure to be classed in that Hawthorn ilk.Him and Kane Farrell are such Hawthorn threepeat type footballers.
Burton looked injured last night at times during the game. Was hesitant & moved awkwardly in patches. Seems a bit off his game this year.I’d have him in front of Burton at the moment although Burton was fair and reasonable last night
He can't. He's a jedi.Wasn't it, didn't realise he could change direction that quickly & that often. I always relax when he has the ball. Has such a high football IQ & his disposal is beautiful to watch.
Not sure about conservative. Continually threads the eye of the needle from what I've observed. He benefits a lot from pressure up the ground. His positioning is usually very good for the oppo dump kick into the forward line and he has a good vertical leap which he times well and has safe hands. And then usually makes good decisions with ball (albeit is pretty conservative).
If the pressure in the front half dropped off I reckon he would really struggle in one on one type situations. But in terms of how we are playing at the moment he fits in real well.
Very good again. Always seems to find time to get a long kick away under pressure. Great composure.

Umpteen times he's lauched beautiful attacking kicks into the corridor since coming into the side.. conservative is a weird call. Not sure about conservative. Continually threads the eye of the needle from what I've observed.
Georgiades did the hard part pretty well, finding the ball to have a shot. Unfortunately the yips affected him, as they can get anyone. As a highly intelligent person (he was considering a medical degree) he's probably more vulnerable to over thinking it when he loses some confidence in his kick. Motor skills have a faster processing speed requirement than we can we achieve with conscious thought. As they say, you need to clear your thoughts when having a shot.If we can't fix the kicking of a guy that came to the club with a great leg, then that's on us.
You back yourself to fix it.
And I've said it before - Butcher is no comparison. Butcher could NEVER kick.
Lacking confidence (Georgiades) is not the same thing as lacking skill (Butcher)
