Picked a bad year to take on the KDFL with the inclusion of several guns in the league but l guess time will tell..KDFL easy at this stage....

Kdfl are dreaming if they think they can man up a foward line with of best cown hargraves and strawhorn,let alone kick any goals themselves with dave gillespie and gilmour in the back half

I Will be paying the gate fee to see strawhorn up one end and whelan up the other end. Who would be the candidates to play chb and fb for kdl to hold cowan and strawhorn?

Daniel Hazlewood from Undera would be taking one of those positions i would assume. Few other CHB in the league will come under consideration. Not sure how they would go against those two though. Will definatly be the most intriging match ups though. (Providing the top players put their hand up to play)

Daniel Mangan = big loss.

Dylan Flanagan went up there from Katamatite and ended up playing 2s all year.

Not sure of the other names.

I played in the last interleague game and ky struggled from the start to the end. We have a better team now with the league split so I don't know how they could win.

Yeh polo he has pulled the pin at his club in melb and im sure the eagles will be trying there best to lure him back for a 4th year mate

on another note how is katunga travelling ive heard they have snagged a few ex seymour players from the connection with the coach?

I would of thought that a better setup would of seen the South East taking on the Ovens and King and us in the North playing KDFL. Without knowing to much about the other leagues i would think the O&K is a little stronger than KDFL.

Hey Mac, nah I would say definitely the KDFL would be stronger than the O&K atleast this season anyway as they have had an abundance of GVFL & Melb leagues senior players join their comp! I for 1 will be a very interested onlooker for this game as it will be a cracker, having knowledge of both league I think this will go right down to the final minutes....

Interesting to read the odds and personally i think it is pretty right,maybe have waaia ahead of east with there gvl recruits and also havin the best player and leauge medalist in cowan in there side!! I think tungamah wont drop away as much as people think as they have some really good core players and with chris powell and haibach returning they could suprise a few Katandra still have a few good players in (o,reilly,simpson from swans,teauge and bertoli so they will have there 7 or 8 wins! Katunga also could be a sharp improver if the reports are correct they have recruited ex seymour boys? Dookie very quiet although i did hear they got up to some interesting training routines on there camp? Anyone elaborate from dooks???

Cant see how Katunga are better odds than dookie and katandra. Training camp was a very tough weekend out at dookies.

They did have a few interesting training routines but i will leave it at that.
We are flying under the radar at the moment which is good.

Fingers crossed we will have a full deck for murch this thursday.

Hey wash hey ya goin mate?? How's the fitness shaping up?? Hey I was talking to the big Carboon today & he tells me that the council are giving the ground a full mow tomorrow to see how the new added on area is leveling out & also that the goal posts should be going in on fri?? Hopefully it all pans out this way so you boys can get back out their fulltime!!

Yeh ark they have 30 odd players mate so we will get a 6 qtr game in! I know they are appreciative that they can land a few praccy matches after looking very dim 5 or 6 weeks ago!! How you travellin are u having a kick out the highway again

The knees come up good mate but moved up too darwin bout 2 wks ago so not having a kick anywhere this season. I heard u boys are training alrite.

Saw the Dookie vs Murch game under the new lights.

Murch ended up winning by a point (as the scoreboard said, whether it was right or not.....), but Dookie wasted several chances in front of goal and were probably the better team on the night.
