Has been at North a long time. He must be pretty pissed off with the club. Maybe he saw how the Pies sent off a retiring great and thought gee that was better than my mob!

North have apparently come back at him with a 2 year deal on good money (after initially only offering 1). Think same thing happened with Greenwood at North. Found the first offer so disrespectful he walked even though later offers were comparable.

We landed Greenwood after a top 3 finish in the North B&F; could we do it again with Wells?

If Player A was fit, one, final year absolutely.

If Player B is fit and over previous injuries, one more year, probably two, why not.

Player A is Dane Swan, Player B is Daniel Wells.

Different players but I thought the birthdays were worth noting.

It's ironic that such a durable player in Swan has had his career cut short by injury while a relatively injury prone player in Wells can continue on...

Why do we want a 32 year old player? What is happening to our club if we truly are interested in all these old guys?

I think you'll find every body is linked to us because it's good for media coverage.
At the end we may get one or two older types.
That seems ok if they cheap as adds a bit of experience and leadership, no issues for me if we got say Harvey or Del Santo. Excellent ball gatherers and users.

Pretty sure we'll be able to trade our 2018 first round pick next year.

As it currently stand we didn't use a 1st in 2015 and it looks unlikely we'll have 1 to use in 2016. Therefore we'd have to use our 2017 & 2018 1st round picks in the draft to meet the 2 in 4 years requirement.

He would if he wasn't continually attacked.

He created this thread to move away from the attacks he was getting in the trade talk thread. What happens, the same people ragging on him in there come into his thread and do the same. They obviously don't like his info, so why come into this thread ? For no other reason then to continue the attacks. Crazy stuff.
