Ok so i had a fair bit of money on the bench but if i get rid of it

I had -
Tom collier in backs to cover Hill, raines
Hentschel in forwards to cover Yarran, Skipworth.

Now -
Suban in backs
Brown in forwards.

The second option has allowed me to go. Gibbs => Kornes, Lovett => Gia

Strong cover + Gibbs + Lovett v Av cover + Kornes + Gia.

Barring injury from Hentschel, Brown etc.
Option 2 by far.

Suban vs Broughton for ruck reserve, are either a lock for freo

How come you are saying they are ruck reserves when they clearly play in the backline

I believe at least 1 of Suban and Broughton will get a game each week.
Maybe even both. Different people are saying both are going to play in the 22 each week (Suban being best 22 and Broughton bein a hard nosed small defender)

Nathan G. Brown Vs Brett Deledio

Had Lids for most of pre season but put in Brown this week, as he's had a great PS and talk of getting a lot of midfield time. I think Deledio is a bit overpriced and can see him copping the number 1 tag this year.

Thoughts please? :thumbsu:

Delidio is one of the few blokes I haven't had second thoughts about. NGB still has that element of unknown about his durability which hasn't yet affected Lids' career. For that reason, i'd back Lids.

My dilemma is

Jolly v Ottens v McIntosh

and

Gibbs v Sewell v S.Burgoyne v P.Burgoyne v Knights v others in this bracket (I currently have 4 of these but would be interested to hear people's thoughts on their upside, value, etc)

Hasnt has the greatest of pre seasons Waspy, but might be a bit unique and if he picked up from where he left of, he could be a very nice pick

Could people please leave comments about the following players that I'v been thinking about, most of which will not be common choices:

M. Johnson (freo)

M. Le Cras

J. Brennan

D. Headland

J. Roughead

Hi all ...

I've just about finalised my team but have one last decision to make ...

I have room for one of the following players in my forward line:

Matt Stokes
Jonathon Brown
Simon Goodwin
Nathan Brown

Who would be the better player that will consistantly score highly each week?

Cheers

Hi guys,

Im mulling over Hodge vs Goddard...

I heard Gods was restricted to light training the other day, and he averages poorly against Sydney,

Hodge is a bit more expensive and Im not sure if he's carrying any problems into the season?

EDIT: And another Im thinking of is: Houlihan and Lucas vs Hill and McPhee/Cloke/Thomas

I think its a bit risky having Hill and Raines on the field, but Lucas just isnt sitting right with me, and I feel like McPhee or Thomas could have good seasons.

Anyone care to shed some light? Opinions? :)

Judd. Hopefully the other Carlton onballers will step up another notch and take more pressure off him.

I need to pick two high priced forwards but cant decide between

Franklin
Chappy
Gia
and nathan Brown.

What order would you guys put them in?

Cheers

IMO Gia or Chappy are definitely 1 and 2, depending on whether you want to play it safe or take risks. Gia is a durable, consistent premium with room to improve, which is exactly what you want for your starting squad. Chappy is neither consistent or durable, but in the offchance he plays 22 games he'll be one of the pickups of the year.

From there I'd have N. Brown over Franklin, for your starting squad at least, because of Franklin's inconsistency.

Didak V Deledio V Pav

All 3 are pretty good choices and have the ability to average around the 10 mark.

Pav hasn't had the best pre season but it hasn't stopped him before. Mt consistent.

Didak may be a little over priced and can be inconsistent, but had a massive breakout season last year and could still improve.

A bit concerned whether Deledio can improve his scores, may get the first tag but may get more time up forward(not sure wether this will impact positive or negative) Defiitely has the ability though.

defs get lids.
He cant get worse and his still maturing.
Franklin rumours about dud year.
Didak maybe.

Didn't mention Buddy, but I can't see any possible reason why he'd have a dud year.
