My current midfield is Ablett, Selwood, Gibbs, Hase, (rookie)
who should fill my next spot.
Im looking for someone around the 300,000 mark altough i have 359,600 to spend.

Kade Simpson - 355,600
v.
Daniel Kerr - 339,200
v.
Nathan Foley - 332,400
v.
Daniel Jackson - 318,300
v.
Brent Reiliy - 284,000
v.
Travis Tuck - 276,200
v.
Sam Lonergan - 273,500

Realistically i think that all of them would need an upgrade. The only two i think could turn into keepers would be Kerr and Simpson, however for that price you would hope they would.

In terms of risk and potential rise in value, which of these mid priced mids would be a better prospect to upgrade after 10 weeks or so.

This is the only position in my team that i am mulling over. And its doing my head in!

Didak V Deledio V Pav

All 3 are pretty good choices and have the ability to average around the 10 mark.

Pav hasn't had the best pre season but it hasn't stopped him before. Mt consistent.

Didak may be a little over priced and can be inconsistent, but had a massive breakout season last year and could still improve.

A bit concerned whether Deledio can improve his scores, may get the first tag but may get more time up forward(not sure wether this will impact positive or negative) Defiitely has the ability though.

Didak because he is the cheapest, and probably is the the only player that could get you a few 150 scores.

Hodge + Thomas + Dalziell (3rd mid)/Pendles (more $$) or Stevie J + Newman + Pendles.

Now I know everyone will probably say option 1, but my backline is gun, and this move will make my forward line with only 3 gun players and not 4.

Thoughts?

Interesting comment, Didaks never scored over 135 while Pav has scored 135+ 6 times with a couple well into the 140's and a 168. If anything Didak is the least likely to get 150 scores out of the 3.

Not overly concerned about them posting 150 one week if they only get 40 the next. More looking at overall points/consistency.

I'd prefer Dalziell out of the two. Higher ceiling IMO, but Pendles could average 95+. Pretty tough one.

i think ur first option is safer because i dont trust thompson because he gets tagged and he seams to struggle with them in the game. not sure how he goes in dt when he gets tags though. he can be pretty good for getting a couple of goals some weeks and tackles but others he just seems to have trouble getting into the game and gives away a few frees.

alright this 1 will be a bit confusing but i hope it makes some sense

alright so i have 180k or so with players like gia,white(2nd ruck),gump and griffen from the dogs

or

should i downgrade gia to porp, up gump to ziebell, downgrade griffen to masten and then upgrade white to hille which would give me a cox + hille start?

also do u think my mid is too weak to have masten as my 4th most expensive mid? also got porp as my 4th most in the forward as well which im not so confident on.

Yes IMO i think you should have somebody a bit more realiable as your 4th mid.

Yeah i know its the safe thing to do but to me they are all just keepers where as the other two are high end premiums i guess it all depends on the risk I want to take.

Butler is such an enigma, he is very similar to Drummond, offers so much but doesn't get fit enough to play. I really rate him as a player and will score well if he keeps fit.... but thats a big IF. argh no risk no reward right haha. But you can also make calculated risks and im not sure if this is one of them.
