Carrazzo or Heath Shaw?

For me I'd go Shaw. Carrazzo's role can change from week to week which could cause his scores to suffer (i.e. when he plays a tagging role he has shown to get less of the ball himself), whereas Shaw looks set for a role (or at least stints) in the midfield and with players like pendlebury, swan, davis, didak and ball you would think he would escape the tag.

And Shaw should also be more adept at handling a tag this year; he is still a young player.

Fisher + Ball + NicNAt

OR

Gilbee + McVeigh + Ryder

First option, easy. Gilbee is not really a Dter, he's such a good user that he'll often get tagged. Ball looks to have had a good preseason and with increased TOG at the Maggies he should go alright. I also think that Ryder has peaked whilst NicNat has 15-20 ppg improvement in him.

Fisher versus Adcock

I like Fisher....

Kreuzer & Tippett

or

Mitch Clark & Hille

Would go Sandi+Ball, but there shouldnt be much difference. Ball should improve a bit more than Tippet IMO, and the other 2 will stay the same give or take a few points.

Boyd+Malceski+Ziebell/Hall vs Trengove+Enright+ROK/Pav

Trengove would be my 3rd starting rookie, other 3 are premiums.

Boyd & Tippet vs. Sandi + Ball.

?

Sandi + Ball without a shadow of a doubt. Tippett is fools gold if he plays soley in the forward line IMO.

Ziebell + Deledio + Kelly + 26k
Hitchcock + Ablett/Montagna + Goddard + 10k

Keep in mind I do not see Ziebell as a keeper and I question his ability to become a forward line keeper this year.

The first group offers more risk than the second one.

Personally, i'm not buying into the Malceski hype given he burnt me last year for that very reason. Boyd would be a great unique pick, and either of Ziebell or Hall possess massive upside, but just as equal a potential to falter.

On the other hand, Trengove will average a decent amount, whilst you're assured of consistently high scores from Enright and either of ROK or Pav. :thumbsu:

Now for my dilemma: Hall or Dangerfield?

Second one easily. Much better balance. Goddard and Ablett/Montagna are captain choices also.

Cooney, Watson, Black or Ball.

Ball - will have a cracker as has been mentioned....and u get 30 odd k$! will prob average same ppg imo

Mackie vs Duffield vs Gram vs Gilbert

Gram. He looks set for a hugeee year. Pick him with confidence.

HELP ME
O'Keefe & Greenwood VS Broughton & Medhurst

O'Keefe & Greenwood VS Broughton & Medhurst

You picked Gram on upside, right? - I had Duffield but you really think Gram will improve on last year - or is it because Gram is on a more consistent side?
thx again...

as for you options i would go ROK and greenwood - be careful with 2nd year breakout players like broughton/grimes imo

one more -

Hall vs Westhoff (considering if u say Hall thats 4 dogs in my team)

hall because medhurst will have less midfield time this year thanks to luke ball
I would try to get medhurst in your forward line..not as a mid. His price tag is very nice due to his lack of skill last season, to free up a little cash for a more consistent player. I do feel he will redeem himself and take on quick goals around the goal square /pocket. He looked very nice in the pre-season match vs saints. He is capable of achieving great things.

Yeah, Med/Broughton looks more appealing on paper as Okeefe is overpriced.

I didn't select Gram, but he looks to be getting alot of the ball, because the team looks to him to set up. He will average 95+ imo. Especially if Goddard plays more in the MID.

Jobe Watson v Luke Ball
I've been thinking about this too.
Both will probably lift on last years averages.
I took Ball for the simple fact that he gives me a bit more cash to play around with.
Watson however, is probably a safer choice, as he is less injury prone and we don't know how being the focal point in the midfield will effect Ball's scoring.
Depends whether you think possibly more safety justifies $35k?

Goddard+Malceski vs Gram+Ellis?
