If you can afford them, I'd say Danger and Ziebell. Both could evolve into premium players this year, and both will get a big run in the midfield.
If you have balls, you could go Mayne, who should make cash.
Medhurst had a one-off year in 2008, I think. I don't think Ballantyne can make as much cash as the others can.
MY QUESTION
Mitchell, Bartel or Gibbs?
Mitchell could average heaps this year, but there will be weight lifted off his shoulders with the Hawks being in a (albeit slightly) better injury position than last year.
However, Sewell is out, and Rioli and Burgoyne are iffy, so he'll have a lot of work to do.
Bartel is a great player, but is there room for improvement? Probably not.
Gibbs will cop the tough tag for the first 3 weeks (albeit against Richmond, Brisbane and Essendon), so how does that effect him? Minimally, I hope.
Personally, I'm leaning towards Gibbs, but thoughts, anyone?
Thanks in advance guys.
Hmm im leaning towards bartel
Mitchell will cop the tag at the hawks, Gibbs will cop a tough tag, Richmond wont go to good, but Brisbane have a strong midfieldand essendon have good taggers a little bias but welsh and hocking are fairly good taggers and did some good jobs last year
