Player X or Player Y (Part II)

If you can afford them, I'd say Danger and Ziebell. Both could evolve into premium players this year, and both will get a big run in the midfield.

If you have balls, you could go Mayne, who should make cash.

Medhurst had a one-off year in 2008, I think. I don't think Ballantyne can make as much cash as the others can.

MY QUESTION

Mitchell, Bartel or Gibbs?

Mitchell could average heaps this year, but there will be weight lifted off his shoulders with the Hawks being in a (albeit slightly) better injury position than last year.

However, Sewell is out, and Rioli and Burgoyne are iffy, so he'll have a lot of work to do.

Bartel is a great player, but is there room for improvement? Probably not.

Gibbs will cop the tough tag for the first 3 weeks (albeit against Richmond, Brisbane and Essendon), so how does that effect him? Minimally, I hope.

Personally, I'm leaning towards Gibbs, but thoughts, anyone?

Thanks in advance guys.

Hmm im leaning towards bartel
Mitchell will cop the tag at the hawks, Gibbs will cop a tough tag, Richmond wont go to good, but Brisbane have a strong midfieldand essendon have good taggers a little bias but welsh and hocking are fairly good taggers and did some good jobs last year

my question
Adcock,Selwood,Hille and Franklin
VS
Newman,Mastern,Jolly,Grey
Any thoughts
at the moment im leaning towards the second one but i donno

Hmmm.

Last year, Gibbs got 129 and 89 points against Brisbane, and 74 and 122 against Essendon.

I don't know what to make of those stats. Gibbs is probably my first preference at this point though.

Sorta 50/50

Newman > Adcock

Selwood >> Masten

Jolly >>>> Hille

Franklin and Gray are sorta 50/50

I'm going..... the second one. By an inch.

MY QUESTION

Joel Macdonald and Robbie Gray

OR

Simon Goodwin and Jack Ziebell?

Well in those games he wasnt the the best midfielder but its up to you:thumbsu:

For me mabye option 2 Jack Ziebell looks like hes ready to fire in norths mids goodwin is 33 but hes still going
Mac doesnt look like the sure thing but gray does look good

Alright, this is pretty much a player x vs everyone.

I have Patty Dangerfield in my mids, with Pav and ROK up forward. Are there any options in the midfield cheaper than Dangerfield which are also better?

I've considered Ziebell, but I'm not that sure.
Thoughts?

I think Ziebell has a much better upside than danger so i like him
some other names being tossed up are Robinson, mabye even Josh Carr or Rhys Palmer. And for a bit more Mcveigh looks like a bargin as does Mastern

As the 3rd defender... Any one under 500k

If you don't have Hodge, he's the guy.

If you do have Hodge (which I hope you do), Fisher and Hurn look good to me.

I don't think either has huge upside, but Fisher might play a different role this year. I'm going Fisher.

MY QUESTION

Dangerfield/Ziebell and Sandilands or Morton/Boak and Tippett?

Cale Morton is very underrated, virtually no teams have him.

Sandilands is a must in all teams so option 1 because of that oh and Ziebell>Dangerfield

Swan Mitchell and Masten
vs
Pendlebury Vince and Cooney
vs
Boyd Vince and Power/Black

This is for M2, M3 and M4. I currently have the first option which leaves me with 13 keepers, which I feel isn't quite enough. Option 2 or 3 will leave me with 14, but I'm not quite sold on either of them.

Option 1 for me is the way to go, then 2, and finally 3
so in that order:D

My question
Hurn,Pendles,Hille
or
Adcock,Ball,Hmac
Any thoughts:confused:

I reckon the top trio. Hurn doesn't really have anyone to contend with like with Adcock & Drummond. Pendles is a gun, younger then Ball and I rate Pendles higher. Hille coming back from injury, I think he may take a few matches to get back into good form, how about NicNat instead?

What does everyone reckon? Who will score more in the first five matches out of Ziebell & M. McVeigh?

Ziebell, because McVeigh is out for round one. But over the season, dunno.

Lewis Jetta, Bastinac, Banner, Moles or Kayler-Thompson? To go on my bench, already have Shuey, but am willing to replace him if you think someone else is better.

Note: Moles and KT would allow me to afford Warnock instead of Skipper, but I can't see them (at least Moles) getting an opportunity.

Oh, and Naitanui or Hille? Everyone asks this, but I wanna make sure. I'm leaning towards NicNat.
