This one has been driving me insane

Rioli / Petrie

Vs

Higgins / Yarran

Tough one.
I'd go Higgins and Yarran to start then after round 3 you can trade someone out for petrie and if rioli is flying trade him in later.

Mine is:
Selwood + Duigan/Puopolo
vs
Foley + Adcock

Originally I had Selwood and a rookie defender but just today changed to Foley and Adcock.

Selwood has some uncertainty because he may average less from taking Ablett's tag or with the absence of Ablett becoming the teams number one mid and average more.
Foley has uncertainty because he's coming back from injury and is very prone to injury.

Im thinking Foley will average 90 and Selwood 110, whilst Adcock will average 70-80 and the rookies 50. So pretty even scoring. But the fact that Foley will surely go up in price and at some point Selwoods bound to drop so I could pick him later anyway has me currently just on the Foley/Adcock side.

Option A - Dane Swan & either Josh Kennedy(syd) / Trent Cotchin / Nathan Foley

or

Option B - Scott Pendlebury & Kieren Jack

??????????????????????????????????????????

My dilemma is Newman or Jack Riewoldt (would shuffle McKernan back / forward depending on which one I choose). Already have Deledio in defence, but he could go onto the mids bench when Richmond have the bye.

Very little talk on Jack around these boards at the moment. Capable of some massive scores but consistency will again be the problem in a struggling Richmond side. Only cracked the 100 mark twice in his last 9 games of 2010 after a purple patch in the middle of the year. Newman probably a safer bet to see more of the action playing down back.

Callan Ward or Rhys Palmer as M5?? thoughts, other options???

Out of those 2 i'd have to go Ward, Had a good look at him this year and rekon hes set to go, Rhys palmer, even if he gets back to some decent for, he butchers the ball so that costs him a bit,
Mine is
Knights vs Petrie

Probably already been answerd on here but opinions change,
my thoughts are that petrie will be chf so play will be directed through him so is less likely to have big lows but will get some massive scores, while knights being a small could fade in and out of a game a bit more, but on the other hand i think petrie's injury was a bit more severe and could potentially go again. Thoughts?

Check out Selwoods average when gaz does not play :thumbsu:

Jobe Watson, Andrew Swallow or Matthew Boyd?

I would go Boyd, whilst he doesn't get huge scores he is consistent. To be honest though you could make a case for any of them.

Option 1:

Pendlebury + Goodes + Yarran + Irons

Option 2:

M.Murphy + Higgins + Yarran + Conca

Option 3:

M.Murphy + Goodes + Knights + Bewick

Considering I already have Swan which option would you pick?

Who are you other mids ? I wouldn't go option 1 as having Swan and Pendlebury out with a bye is too many core points gone. Both option 2 and 3 have 2 mid-premium range forwards, I am guessing you have gone for the stacking your forward line strategy. From what you have there, I would probablly say Option 3. Knights much better option than Yarran and Goodes will play more games than higgis (unfortunately).

Cotchin and knights

or

boyd and Mckernan

i like boydy but i think cotchin is gonna star this year and can score some big points. boyd is consistant but dosn't really make big 100's. so a bit unsure and not a 100% on mckernan playing all year as well. by the way im not interested in winning the whole comp just my league im after... thats why it might be better with boydy and mckernan because if cotchin dont star he will take 2 trades to upgrade to a premium and same with knights 4 in total... the other way it will only take 2 trades to upgrade mckernan to a premium... what do yas think???

I'd pick Boyd and McKernan unless you're wanting to take a double risk in Cotchin and Knights. They really could go either way, play well or get injured. Boyd is consistent and McKernan should get games.

Foley or Ward with the view of upgrading them after Collingwood is done with byes

Foley, just. Not as many that can nick his points at the tiges.

Mine also concerns foley,

J.Kennedy or Foley?

The only 2 that keep changing in my team, tried to squeeze in both but can't, which one?

I'd go Sylvia and forget the other 2 personally.

What you guys think: J Kennedy vs D Rich?

Agreed with Sylvia.

I would try and get the cash for Boak, but if it is strictly out of those two I would choose Kennedy as Rich might be in a struggling side this year and copping the tag as the top midfielder. And then seems more chance Kennedy will rise in value.

I have 3 dillemas:

Selwood v Montanga (and 20k)
I'm worried the Selwood will cop heavy tags now that he is the premier midfielder left at Geelong and that they will not be as dominant as last year, however many people seem to have jumped on board which leaves me with wondering.

LeCras v Leroy Jetta (and 20 k)
Both might get a bit more midfield time this year and with Jetta having a bigger body, it might lead to greater scores. However I'm concerned about his consistency?

B Sheppard v Astbury (and 90 k) or alternative (I have Otten)
Sheppard could be due for a break out year but he hasn't looked too great so far, where as Astbury is cheaper and seems to have a place cemented in the Richmond lineup following strong pre season form.

Any help is appreciated, cheers.:thumbsu:

Cool thanks, and I've already got Boak.
