Take Jurrah - the other two have byes during the year - Jurrah plays every game. Also Essendon have a bye in Grand Final week - careful with all Ess players.

Ahhh Good tip, re the Essendon players. Where's the ligtbulb smiley face?

So Melbourne play two multi-byes then? you're talking about winning your league? Meaning you won't lose on him in those weeks right?

tough one again..

Goodes and Petrie [RUC]

vs

Jolly and Petrie [FWD]

jolly and petrie, simply coz petrie is an awesome sub in, as long as you have GC tippet to sub him in on the bench
plus goodes to me is a little seasoned

heres mine

Jolly and Didak (FWD)

vs

Cox and B.Green

Didak has had a limited preseason so look to use him as an upgrade later. Jolly is a good r2.

Not sure about cox this year. Will nic nat be taking time away from him?

Can you go jolly and green?

Grimes vs Hurn?

tough one again..

Goodes and Petrie [RUC]

vs

Jolly and Petrie [FWD]

Jolly and Petrie

Petrie shouldn't be a ruck

heres mine

Jolly and Didak (FWD)

vs

Cox and B.Green

Didak is risky with limited pre-season (iirc)..Jolly durable... To me Jolly=Cox...so go Jolly..and whoever you want at Didak's price..nothing wrong with Didak..just be wary he had a peck (???) injury

Me:

Harvey + Bartel/Boyd
Gian + Pendles

I really want Pendles in my team...but is Gian the rollercoaster...too risky...Harvey is old but is a champion

i would go harvey + boyd, gia is to inconsistant for mine

bock vs hurn vs harbrow
for the 5th defender spot

Tough one..noting that Bock/Harbow have 2 early byes..

Bock, Hurn the Harbow..but with the fixture..might go Hurn over Bock..

So Hurn or Bock..if it was my choice..even with the fixture..maybe Bock..

but personally [if u can afford it] I'd go Newman, Duffield, Shaw, Fisher ..

Bock I guess...

Cox vs Jolly vs Mc Intosh.. 1 of those

and

Gilbert(Bac), Dangerfield and (Cox-Jolly McIntosh)
VS
Pavlich, Luenberger and R.Murphy(Bac)

Also, Absolute Gun I would be going Grimes and Toy. Drummond is injured and Grimes is a much better player anyway. Toy is going to be a gun and will score just as good as Heppell but for less money.

Didak and Chapman or any two other premium forwards

Have heard didak's pre season has been pretty average so may be best to steer away from him. Pav is Mr Consistant, garentueed 100 points every week end.

I'm not sure who to pick out of Mitch Morton of Dangerfield
Both in the akward mid 300k price range so only want one.
Dangerfield has more upside, could really be any thing. Looks to be a realy player of the future, but im not sure about 2011.
Morton will get the o'keefe hff/mid type role now at the tigers. His strong marking and ability to drift fwd and snag a goal should see him score well. He spent 10 or so weeks back in the 2's learning to play mid field in 2010 and came back for the last 6 rounds and averaged 100 points. His new aerobic capacity and role up the ground really has me tempted.

I really want both to be honest but its just too much risk.

Advice please.

Matera or Prestia? bench spot

Andrew wallow vs jobe watson
alan didak vs adam goodes or matthew pavlich
daren jolly vs mark jarmar
is cyril rioli a good get this year i hope will play midfield
Swallow probably has more upside
Pavlich just, but wont really matter, 3 quality players
Jolly
I think there is better options at rilois price but its up to you

Mine is
Duigan V Puopolo
Who do you thinks more likely to play round 1 and have an overall better year?
