Which line - def or fwd - is weaker?
Swallow should be in every team, so I'd say get him first. Gray has been good but he could also break down physically while being relatively expensive.

My D4-8 is Langdon, Langford, Docherty (Georgiou, Tippett).

Gray will complete my FWD line.

The reason I was going to get Gray is that i don't want to upgrade Georgiou as he is only 185k. Also I don't want Langford as D7 as there are absolutely no good rookie def to downgrade to.. So my thought was get Gray now, and upgrade Lang, Lang, Doc later when their price peaks

Depending on what Langford does today, id say he has almost peaked. BE of 0 and will probably be 310k after this week. Hopefully he goes biggish to help us all out, but i think he may be approaching his peak.

Hodge (46,000 left in the bank)
B. Smith (70,000 left in the bank)
K Simpson (0 left in the bank)

Which of these three options do you reckon is the smartest move? Im leaning towards Hodgey purely due to his increased workload with gibson lake both out, I can also see him rotating through the midfield a lot more with Mitchell missing. Simpson is very tempting at the moment though, however 0 left for future upgrades is a downer.
Any thoughts?

Relaible option, who knows what role Hodge will play each week.

Yeah that's why I'm thinking of getting Gray this week and next week Langford > Swallow

Can you bring Swallow through the mids this week, then DPP/trade him back to Def next week?

Yeah I could, but that would force me to play one of C.Cameron/Ambrose/Lloyd at F6 or trade out LLoyd which I don't want to do just yet. I don't really get the 'which line is weakest' thing to be honest..it comes down to which rookies have to play on field, and by getting Gray I'll be playing Langford, Docherty & L.Taylor, as opposed to C.Cameron or Ambrose.

Haha does that wink mean :thumbsu: or  ? Haha

Also, I'd prefer to upgrade Langford > Swallow when he peaks, as opposed to doing the costly upgade of Georgiou/Tippett > Swallow, seems a waste. Pretty sure I'm gonna go Crouch > Gray this week and Langford > Swallow next week, depending on how Langford goes

Nah, meant that you got what I was trying to indicate, bring in the premo's that make your team better by forcing weaker SC players out onto your bench.

Usually that tends to coincide with how many premos you have on any one line, but not always.

Cameron is an unknown at this stage, go with what you suggested. :thumbsu:

Well your weakest line obviously takes into account what type of rookies you'll have to field.

Michael Johnson or Nick Malceski? (or Hibberd)

Current backs - Bartel, McVeigh, Simpson, Burgoyne, Swallow, Langdon (Cutler/Bews)
Hibberd. Consistency is key in the backline and he also has the ability to pump out those 120-130 scores

Yeah was just looking at the 3 options for consistency. I think I'll leave Langdon another week anyway now as he won't drop much unless its <20, and Lennon / Shenton are ready to start mooing.
