Nah
That was Mummy. Heater was originally contracted to the end if this year. His contract was extended a year quietly a year among credible reports the club extended and backended ha contract to free up cash to keep Kelly this year.

It's possible he might decide the injury is a sign, he's 32. I doubt it though and cant see the club pushing him.

Ahh, okay. Cheers for the clarification :thumbsu:

Jordan Lewis a smoky to be nudged into retirement?

Vince will be nudged first which might save lewis 1 more year
Lewis is contracted for 2019

Mackenzie likely to retire. Due to chronic injury issues.

LeCras slightly more likely to retire than go on.

Jetta maybe some chance to retire.

Our other old guys (Hurn, Kennedy, Schofield) are all contracted for another year or two.

Jetta is not even 30, he won't retire. I reckon it will just be Mackenzie and LeCras.

Vince's injury will probably mean he'll hang the boots up (doing pretty well with his real estate stuff anyway). Pedersen is a maybe, we might just hang onto him for one more because we have no ruck depth and he proved handy last year when Gawn went down. He does have a young family so he might just end up being a stay at home Dad. Arguably the best ruckman in the VFL, which is what I would look into if he retired but he is pretty much that. There could be a shock one like a Jeff Garlett possibly losing interest in the game because of how little AFL games he got this year, but I doubt it.

So looking at the bottom 10 teams I'd expect the below retirements to come

-Scott Thompson
-Andy Otten
-Mark Baguley?
-Barlow
- Rischetelli
-Sam Gilbert
-Tory Dickson

If Andy Otten gets delisted, the Pies should take him. With Dunn and Scharenberg gone for most of 2019, he may be a reasonable replacement.
