Players you thought were going to be guns but ended up being duds...

It is not trolling, it is an opinion. Tom Hawkins has been the most overrated (overweight) useless player i have ever seen, when ball goes to ground it is all over for big tommy. Gibbs is the best number 1 draft pick tagger in the game I will give him that. And leunberger is a brittle beanstalk who can't handle the physical contest

Oh dear :(

How you can label 3 kids as duds who have not played more than 100 games between them is amazing. Hawkins will be good when injury free, Gibbs allready is a star and Luenberger is an up and coming young ruckmen and you need to realise you cant expect kids to come into the Competition and dominate in the first 50 games of there career. You labeling the 3 of them as Duds is delusional and Moronic.

I did think Ben Holland was going to be better than he turned out (admittedly, not a total dud). Probably lost it when he did his knee and his pace went from 'Slow' to 'Dead'. Good hands, though.

I wasn't alone - we could have traded him straight up for Kane Johnson, but Richmond declined. He signed a fat contract, did the knee, and we had to trade Pick 2 a year later to get Johnson.

Keep this stuff to Bay 13, mate.

Bowen Lockwood, this guy had some talent but a ****ed up back, apparently he cant really sit for long periods still
Yeah good Geelong College boy, read an article about him in the past 12 months, almost crippled from back problems at a very young age. Poor fella.

Yeah, i saw an interview with him about a year back. It's pretty sad really, His back is totally ****ed. He would have been a gun in my opinion.

I am not going to argue with trolls on the main board. Go to the Bay.

Cupido by the length of the straight.

Never forget this goose trash talking Crawford on Friday night match when the Hawks were at their lowest and he had been at The Bombers for about 2mins. He'd got a couple of goals in junk time and the Bombers were up by about ten.

Karma is a bitch.

I am actually going to agree with you on those 2.. Still think Gibbs will be a superstar though
How can you write off players of that size so early?

People were calling Roughead a dud in his third year, and now is considered an elite forward.

The guys from the 2006 draft have only played 2 years, many of the forwards have had key injuries as well. All of Gumbleton, Leunberger, Hawkins, Thorp, Hansen are all very very good prospects, but bigfooty don't seem to have to patience to wait the 3-5 years big key players take to develop.

Ryan Murphy is one of the mosted gifted forwards in the game. He kicked 51 goals in his first WAFL season and looked great whenever he had a shot at the top but just doesn't have the intensity or work rate required to be a consistent AFL performer

His old man was a school teacher of mine and a few years later after I had completed school, we ran into each other and came across the subject of Damian...he told me that sport, literally any sport he participated in he was naturally good at and never had to bother to put in hard work to make top level teams, his old man reckons he was just as good as cricket.

Shame really.

Did his old man ever flick your ears and constantly say "Eh Mate"?

It was actually Pick 4 Richmond Traded, it just eventually became pick 2, but no one knew it was going to become pick 2, so you didn't trade pick 2.

Further that was a crap draft, so I wouldn't worry about it.
