Gosh darn it, is there any power forwards/Tall forwards around our pick if we don’t waste it on Jackson
Jefferson may slide due to being a bit of a longer term project, Keeler would likely be available as well as a Forward/ Ruck so might suit better

By one point, Dandenong wins! Justin Davis took a mark on the goal line to win the game. A great performance from him today. The two other standouts from Dandenong were probably Binns and Bailey. As for Tasmania, they would have to count themselves very unfortunate to lose. In addition to Cameron Owen and Seth Campbell's strong performances, their underage players were outstanding today. There had to be a winner and a loser, and unfortunately for Tasmania, they were the losers in this case.

I’m obviously not Bangers but - Keeler could be your man.

Athletic SA ruck/fwd? Would not be unhappy with that at all. Couple him with Hustwaite and I would be very happy.

More so thinking of potential second bolters out of the blue, ala Sheldrick last year

PMBangers who wpuld be a prime boom or bust first for swans. Feel we have the scope to reach/take a risk this draft
Keeler probably the main one in terms of potential/ floor, Munkara I don't expect to be in the frame but is another one with ridiculous talent.

Bailey seems to be making a late charge with two big finals performances. How did he look?

Do you think munkara makes it out side the 40?
I don't think he gets drafted at this point, I think clubs would be better off taking him on as a train on player over pre season

Essendon do have a Cat B spot open again. Handy for us.

Well when you put it like that, Charlie Clarke could be primed for it given his form in NAB League finals, has been mostly consistent this year but has probably earned the 'big game player' tag now. Harry Rowston gives me some Sheldrick vibes as well, primarily contested ball winners that have some impact going forward and put themselves on the map with really good Champs games and have continued that form. I don't know why, but Olli Hotton from Sandringham is another one that just screams 'Sydney' to me, not so much a bolter now after his Champs games but wouldn't be surprised to see him in your sights

Can someone explain the Jackson trade to me. You already have an All Aus calibre young ruckman and huge holes in your key forward ranks. Therefore one can assume he is being courted primarily as a forward. As a forward he is not even good let alone great. He is a very very average key forward who has never dominated a game down there nor even looked like it. I really think I must be missing something as it seems insane to pay a mil or near to him as the answer to your key forward issues if that is indeed the plan?? That money should only be offered to Jeremy Cameron, Max King, Aaron Naughton, Ben King ect ect if you are trying to fix what it seems is Freo's major problem. I just absolutely do not understand it. The only time Jackson has ever looked like one of the most exciting young players in the game is when he is rucking and you absolutely do not need a ruckman. It is weird and I feel like I am living in a bizarre world where no one else seems to be calling it out.

Haven’t watched a lot of Fremantle this year.

Watched last night.

Darcy offers nothing around the ground. Watching the centre bounces, he contests, ball goes where ever, and he just stands there, watches the ball, then starts walking in which ever direction the ball is headed.

No idea what Fremantle plan to do with the two of them.

Did read a suggestion last night, that Darcy potentially looks to head to Geelong at the end of next season.

I'm listening...where is he expected to fall?

To be honest I wouldn't be shocked to see him go as high as 10, has a lot of good qualities that will translate well with his athleticism and one touch skills at ground level, but consensus would probably be 15-25

PMBangers where do you think Kobe Ryan goes in this draft?
Hard to a gauge on, and only getting a state combine invite probably indicates he's not seen that highly amongst AFL clubs but I still think he's a 25-50 selection personally

Well we're a chance in the 15-25 bracket providing we don't trade out both first round picks which I can't see happening.

Ryan best on for West Adelaide in a losing Reserves Prelim today, just keeps stepping up to the plate at whatever level he plays....should have got a lot more minutes in the midfield at the Nationals. Only thing I can see he lacks is a bit of body size but that doesn't stop him attacking every contest with plenty of vigour.

Tassie had that game stolen. Clearly a mark to Tassie boy on the boundary line with a minute to go and scores level. The umpiring was atrocious in both games.
