I agree with you, my point is I believe it will go away with regards to police prosecution.
It definitely won't go away from a club/AFL - player discipline perspective. I think the player involved will be in a lot of trouble with both organisations and a significant penalty (fine, matches suspension & community work) will be handed out. Don't think the player would get sacked however.
Its quite ironic isn't it.They are part of the reason in creating this monster by prying on peoples private lives but get on their high moral horse when it suits.
The Age chose to not run the photos.
Herald Sun ran with them.
Surprised? Haha..
Why should we be surprised?Exactly. While Susie oneill has just written an article about this picture and Richmond but her employer, herald Sun, is happy to publish the photo.

I have hardly no respect for most Journo,s these days.Weather its the electronic or print media. Most are from the same cloth.Exactly. While Susie oneill has just written an article about this picture and Richmond but her employer, herald Sun, is happy to publish the photo.

Pretty sure those girls knew Rupert was taking their photo for the paper, though. Why should we be surprised?
Does anybody remember when the Herald Sun's owner, Rupert Murdoch, used to make a fortune out of his busty Page 3 girls, here and in the UK?
Wise words, but doesn't change the fact that it's never right to share nudes of someone without the person's consent. Is illegal and should be.Play stupid games, win shit prizes.
Don't give others pornography of yourself if you don't want others to see it. Especially if it's someone you're not even dating. Pretty ******* simple.
Your inWhich is why you loathe me
Fair enough, but I wouldn't be looking to Uncle Rupert or any of his media empire or his employees for moral instruction.Pretty sure those girls knew Rupert was taking their photo for the paper, though.
I think a lot of people in here are misunderstanding what some of us are trying to say. I don't think anybody will condone of making public of such a photo, it's a private photo, and nobody else has to see it, but lets be honest here, it is a torso shot, and you see only 3 things, a set of boobs and a premiership medal draped over the neck, you see nothing above the shoulders and nothing below, there is literally no chance that 99% of people in the public would be able to identify who this person is by just seeing her breasts, so why the need to go to the police and make this something into an issue much larger then it needed to be? Ok great the country has now seen your breasts, but nobody will ever know who's they are, why couldn't she have made this an issue to be resolved by herself and the player at hand? Why the need to go to police?
Why? Possibly because she obviously knows it's her and doesn't feel comfortable that it was shared after she asked for it to be deleted, whether or not this is a "cash grab" still doesn't negate the fact the player was stupid enough to share the image.I think a lot of people in here are misunderstanding what some of us are trying to say. The cynic in me says, this is all a cash grab, young footballer who's just won a premiership, obviously has a few $ to his name, make it a bigger issue then it really is, nobody in there right mind would ever want another person to possibly go to jail or even have a criminal record for such a petty crime with no malice involved in it, and once you work your way down as to the motives this person could possibly have, it all comes back to the one thing.
