Bollocks. Two wrongs have never made a right. Turnbull has had months to prepare for this. He should have issued writs and named a date within 24 hours of the HC decision. No excuses, and Shorten's delays in referring his members to the HC does not make Turnbull's lack of impetus any more legitimate.

My only agenda is to show that there are at least two sides of every story or post that only shows one side.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but when it's distorted I find it hard not to reply.
There isn’t two sides the story though, all you’ve shown is the ABC aren’t the only broadcaster wasting tax payer dollars but the fact blowing our money doesn’t bother you, shows what your agenda is and which side of the fence you lean.

The only Strawman around these parts is you....

Multiple media sources reported and quoted her saying exactly that in 2011..
Perhaps you'd like to supply their retraction because I'm sure SHY would have demanded that if in fact she had been quoted inaccurately.

Here's the link to one such article, if you'd like more?

Greens senator Sarah Hanson-Young yesterday stood by her party's policies. Pressed on whether the Greens accepted responsibility for the tragedy, Senator Hanson-Young said: "Of course not. Tragedies happen, accidents happen."
I stand corrected.

Isn't that how we ended up with anti-vaxxers and climate chamge deniers?

Giving their side of the arguement far too much air time.

There are moral and intellectual absolutes.

Extreme naivety to insist that there are two sides two every story and they deserve equal weight.

As what i believe you think your at least one of these absolutes, you haven't been keeping up have you.

That's extremely naive of you.

Did this sentence start in a foreign language and get run through google translate a few times to get somewhere approaching English?

It genuinely doesn't make sense.

In commoners speak "if you don't believe there are two sides to every story, then your extremely naive."

You come across as someone who thinks they are above the normal person and a bloody know all.

I am a normal person.

Literacy is normal.

What's the second story to gravity? To the earth being round? Vaccines?

There are some absolute rights and absolute wrongs.
