Kennedy has not been wearing a sling or anything so I think he will play. The fact they are like "oh scans were inconclusive, we won't know till later in the week." Is complete bullshit. They know exactly what is happening. The rumour is its a nerve injury, which could explain the lack of a sling. I'm sure we are preparing for him to play.

Of the 7 teams sitting 3 & 2, we are last coz of our lousy percentage, we have to start smashing some teams, no better time to begin than Sunday

I think this is a very dangerous match for us. We've had a huge 5 weeks of footy and have had to bring finals like intensity to each game, if even for a second we think ahh it's only West Coast we should roll them, we will lose this game. I hope the players haven't been just looking to get through the first 5 weeks and then everything will fall in their laps after that. There are no easy games this year.

My fear exactly!

The lads are professionals so shouldn't but, they're only human and you only need to be 3% off your game in the AFL.

8 legitimate replacements for Polec- Ah Chee, O'Shea, Stewart, Clurey, Colquhoun, Amon, Neade and Impey. Ah Chee will play. He's in the best form.

Not to mention Sam Gray and Tom Logan who have also been getting heaps of the ball in the SANFL and can be called up from the rookie list. #Depth

Nah the headline will read "Injury riddled Eagles fall short in brave loss".

unlike Port who won't risk players for short term gain

Brisbane squandered the greatest array of advantages and free kicks ever bestowed upon a team. Rather than asking for the reinstatement of salary cap/player retention relief they should set about getting some good people in place and stop making f***awful decisions.
Including, as a high priority, addressing the reasons why high draft picks walk out on them year on year.

It's a game they'll be massive underdogs in anyway and they aren't a legitimate flag threat. Boggles the mind they are considering playing him (I wish he wasn't injured as I'd rather we beat them with Bobby doing a 3rd week of destroying a top line KPF).

Exactly.

The only thing anyone wants to talk about is pull factors. Homesickness. Clubs with greater resources. Clubs closer to and climbing through premiership windows.

Well, if that's the be-all and end-all of the story how in the airborne coupling pinkbits did we retain Boak, Lobbe, Trengove, Carlile, Butcher, Gray, O'Shea, Moore and Pittard circa 2011-12? Brisbane have been a shambles for close to a decade now and their myriad problems - push factors - clearly can't be solved by reapplying inordinate financial advantages.

I had this exact debate on the main board and Brisbane fans just keep on blaming the draftees. I'd be asking whether the club is doing every last thing to assimilate guys into their new club and new city. Port seem to have set the standard in this area with the track record you've mentioned. The departure of the one stain who did walk out on us has only led to an improvement in our list (and culture).

Let's say this is a legit thing. That a significant number of their 1st round picks are too prone to the 'go-home' factor. So prone that it doesnt matter what the club does in trying to assimilate the draftees into staying at Brisbane. The question then has to be asked, why does Brisbane pick so many of this type of 1st round draftee?

Brisbane look to be in a world of hurt. You'd hope that they can get themselves on the right track, with or without the AFL's help. Going to be hard work either way though.

This game starts at 4:10pm ???

The thread says 2:40pm ??
