Last week was truly bizarre.

We were awarded:

Just 2 free kicks for the first 56 minutes of the game

… and then suddenly 9 free kicks in the last 20 minutes

So the last 24 mins worked out that we were awarded 10x rate of free kicks vs. first 56 minutes

If I was cynical, I’d think that somehow the umpires realised at 3/4 time that we only had 3 free kicks paid and tried to even it up.

I reckon this is going to be a big factor, i think we need to be screaming ball all game. The umps will never admit it but the crowd definitely influences the whistle, especially with the 50/50 calls.

Usually the more we cat call the umps for bias, the worse it gets for us.
It's literally an "up yours Port fans. Cop these free kicks and suffer even more".
