Top game of football. We were well on top of the Lions for all but the last 15 minutes.

Martin Ellis should never umpire again after that. The guy is a disgrace. I could watch every game of football for 100 years and never ever see a more blatant one sided umpiring performance than that.

Good signs for some of our younger players.

You can rely on these two sides to put up a good, honest contest right to the final siren. I salute them both.

What a rivalry they're developing - possibly the biggest between two interstate sides at the moment. Brisbane-Collingwood's been keenly-fought but pretty one-sided.

less than 35,000 there tonight for the Grand Final rematch?!?!?!

can someone explain that lol?

I seriously question those figures as there were many less seats last week at the Crows game but they apparently had 4000 more people there? I dont think so. Maybe the same thing happened like last week where hundreds of peoples season tickets didnt scan.

Imagine Brisbane when they get back to a full strength side injury free.

Imagine Port with Pickett, S Burgoyne, P Burgoyne, Mahoney, Wilson, Thurstans, Bishop and a fit James and Lade

IMO Brisbane got the better of the umpiring, but not to the extent that many here are trying to make out. Brisbane got a few very soft ones late which has affected everyone's opinion on the game as a whole.

Crap. They had about 15 in the first quarter before we got 1.

Funny how Scott and Michael can bump someone off the ball last week and the umps dont bat an eyelid. We do the same this week and get 8 behind the play free kicks against us. Total crap.

St Kilda are becoming the new rivals of Brisbane, but like Collingwood I think they'll fail. We must win at the Dome in Round 22 to keep it going.

For Port fans, or just footy fans in Adelaide, not to turn up in droves to a game between these two sides is a disgrace. Every game these two sides play is an absolute corker. The best thing is that you know it could go either way.

Yeah, you always know you’re in for a crackerjack game when Brisbane play port. Neither side gives an inch.

Brisbane were first to the ball in the first...and the last half of the last. Frees were paid accordingly.

Saints-Brisbane is getting good but it's still pretty one-sided. Too many big victories to Brisbane over the last few years. It's largely based on talking tough in the lead-up to St Kilda-Brisbane matches rather than on-field results.

It has potential but I'd still rate our rivalry with Collingwood and Essendon higher - at the moment.

I had a laugh, in the first half when Tim was talking about the booing Port fans and out of nowhere Robert Walls speaks and comes out with a total irrelevant comment on how Tradders looks bigger this season and finishes off with "he's huge".

Tim: Brilliant goal!
Robert: Brilliant goal...

Funny what a lot of negative publicity about a normal part of the game will do for it.

It may be just me, but as a sportsman, I was very disappointed to hear the Port Adelaide supporters boo their team off the park after what was a significant win against their arch-rivals, Brisbane. It makes you wonder what the Port Adelaide team has to do to satisfy their supporters. Very poor form I thought.

Of course, they may have been trying to indicate something else altogether, but you'd never have known it. We win a game - first thing we do is boo in unison. Maybe they were trying to create an effect? Imagine how that would have sounded if they'd had some people there.

South Australians have no idea. Still, saved the Brisbane supporters the trouble of insulting their players. Well done guys.

Is it possible they were watching something other than the footballers? Only excuse I can think of.

Hmm...

Maybe they were booing us, or the umpires? Something about the last minutes, I think.

I dunno where your minds are at in Brisbane but the supporters were actually booing the umpires after you almost got handed the game by them in the final quarter you ****wit. 35,000 people tonight plus more probably because of the tickets not scanning right like last week in the crows game is more then Brisbane would have got so keep ya trap shut mate. Do you need a tissue?
