It may be just me, but as a sportsman, I was very disappointed to hear the Port Adelaide supporters boo their team off the park after what was a significant win against their arch-rivals, Brisbane. It makes you wonder what the Port Adelaide team has to do to satisfy their supporters. Very poor form I thought.

Of course, they may have been trying to indicate something else altogether, but you'd never have known it. We win a game - first thing we do is boo in unison. Maybe they were trying to create an effect? Imagine how that would have sounded if they'd had some people there.

South Australians have no idea. Still, saved the Brisbane supporters the trouble of insulting their players. Well done guys.

Is it possible they were watching something other than the footballers? Only excuse I can think of.

You utter clown. There was a cheer for the win, then a lot of booing as the umpires went off the ground, then more cheering for the win.

But yes...we were booing are side off the park for winning

Not exactly, but I just found it while rummaging on my web server...and if it urinates skilts or yourself of....good deal I say :p

I don't know if I'm suppose to be feeling stupid right now because I don't find it funny. In fact, the only expression printed on my face right now it the 'huh?' look...

You can rely on these two sides to put up a good, honest contest right to the final siren. I salute them both.

What a rivalry they're developing - possibly the biggest between two interstate sides at the moment. Brisbane-Collingwood's been keenly-fought but pretty one-sided.

Agree 100%. Its gonna be one of the best modern day rivalries going around. How many bloody close games have we played? The first game between us was a 2 point thriller, then 2 draws, the Round 22 game at Footy Park in 2002, the thriller at the Gabba the next year, the Grand Final, now this one.

Definately one of the great modern day football rivalries

Leave him alone
Without teeth, a cheer can sound like a boo

They were talking about Freo, not your mob.

Arr well still can't wait to play them at the GABBA. It should be more of a grand final re-match with most of the players that were out tonight back in.

The frees were there in the last 15 mins.Get over it.

There were plenty of pathetic free kicks all match - not just the last 10 minutes.

Look, dude just get over it. Whether you're right or wrong, youve already given your two cents and the record will still have the same print.

As for the supposed "poor crowd". I strongly doubt the crowd figures were correct. Having seen many many games at Football Park....there was undoubtedly a lot more people than 34,000 there. Last week Crows season tickets werent scanning properly...and therefore wouldnt have been counted in the electronic ticket counting. Same thing must have happened this week.

There was at least the same crowd as the Crows had last week (39,000) if not more. I said early on it looked about 41-42,000 people. There was no way in the world there was 18,000 spare spots there tonight.

It's interesting to note that Port have won all of those close games (with the obvious exceptions of the draws) and that just about all of them involved some sort of late comeback by the Lions to either take the lead and then lose it again at the death or to just fall short. Mind you, that's how we lose just about all of our close games, and Port's recent record in close games against just about everyone is outstanding.

I was there to and i reckon atleast 38,000 for sure. I have no idea whats going on with the ticket system but i reckon it's not counting a good 5,000 in the members section

I still have the same look on my face, I so don't get you.
You know what, I'm just so fascinated with exactly what silly expression you are wearing on your dial at each passing moment. Please keep me up to date!

Not surprised you don't get it.
