2nds Port Adelaide vs Glenelg - Round 1 @ Alberton

Probably too much to ask for a competitive performance or dare I say it - a win - but at least we can get all our footy out of the way before the weekend’s really begun.

I’m sure the inspirational master coach Hamish Hartlett has a few tricks up his sleeve, that wily old fox with all his history of success to draw back on.

Not expecting a good night. We could only keep up with West Adelaide for three quarters.

Certainly something for a few kids to play for. If you're going to get picked on trial game form then an actual game must be like the Hope Diamond.

That is a concern. Westies have been dreadful in every other pre-season game they have played.

Norwood were thrashed by Centrals and Norwood did us easily.

They had a good last quarter too, so our lack of fitness is evident throughout the club.

So the VFL is streaming on the AFL website, the WAFL is every game all year on 7 plus or whatever & the SANFL want people to pay for coverage. Is that right RossFC ?
SANFL I think also gets 1 game a week on 7. This week it’s Norwood vs North.

Considered the 160 km round trip. No.

Very interested to see the level of fitness of our AFL players.

Do ALL of our AFL and Rookies get a decent amount of fitness attention, physical and mental, as the main team guys?

Does Hinkles communicate one on one with the second tier and learners?
