I love this thread and watching other games on the weekend so much more this year.
Firstly, we’re playing well.
Secondly, the teams to go against all just happen to be teams I dislike!
Thirdly, they all just happen to be giving us more than we expected… at this stage.
I’m frothing.
I’m frothing so much I want is to deathride teams next year!

Question is - if we could deathride one team next year, in terms of dropping lower than expected, who would you select?

I know lots to play out with final positions and possibly who may knock us out of finals.

But at this point I would love to deathride Geelong’s first.

if we play melbourne in a home elimination chances are we beat them. then we might be in a real shot for a prelim.

Not too keen on playing the hawks in finals tbh.

Got a feeling them winning one extra game compared to Collingwood isn’t going to take much doing for them. They’ve got win two extra games than Port.

If I’m honest I’d rather just deathride Collingwood and Port. Hawthorn will win enough games if those two lose enough. More than happy to see Hawthorn beat teams around us on the ladder too.

I get the feeling the crows are pretty much completely out of the finals race so they can win all they like.

Such a big game today. If the pies win they have Richmond next week and suddenly with two wins back to back they will be facing into the final 4 games with momentum.
I’m not as confident they will finish 13th. That would require them losing 5/6 on the way home.

Yep, but I think Carlton will hang around the top and West Coast would never give up a future 1st. They’re almost certainly bottom 3 and they’d know it.

Pies and Port would’ve thought they’d contend. Remarkable to have their firsts falling outside top 8 at this stage!

Yeah we need one of GC or Dogs to get above Port. Neither super reliable but certainly capable. Of course, GWS can't drop too much or Port go past them.

It's much easier if Pies and Port just completely bottle it from here and only win 1 more game each.
