Game Day Port v Collingwood Round 19

Seriously need to trade in some genuine tall men this year. Our forward Line was shocking tonight and looks like it lacks grunt and potency. Non existent tonight and a damn shame. Our smalls are not doing it like they have been earlier this year. #1 priority in drafting & trading goals for me.

Not sure about that. Late last year we just got over Gold Coast and Brisbane at home, lucky to beat crows and lost to Blues at home in the last game. I'm as pissed off as anyone but the year ain't over yet!

I just keep thinking about the team that beat Collingwood in the first week of the finals, and almost caused a bigger upset the following week. I'm hoping we can turn things around, but am not feeling confident right now.

No point worrying about it now, let's look to next week. Sydney will come over to a packed Adelaide Oval thinking we'll be a push over & we'll smash 'em...we're just as likely to now!! Either way, I still think we'll finish top 4. Freo aren't travelling that well either atm. Do we get Trengove back for the Sydney game? Don't despair guy's, thing's are a lot better than what they were a couple of years ago. Stay positive, it will turn again.

The only hope we have is that teams will come over looking to beat the clappers out of us and we catch them napping.
Things are that bad imo!
Something very wrong from top to bottom here

Hang
A few points from the ground - pittard and ebert were fine. Ken wasnt outcoached. We have no fwd line as we have no midfield. Oshea was fine. We lack composure going forward

Hang on.... THEY had no midfield.

Who for ours was missing?

Pittard and O'Shea have been two of the best in our run of shit. Stewart is average. Impey is tired and should have been given more of a rest. Newton and Moore was hoping one would be fit and would stamp themselves this year as best 22.

The problem isn't depth, but class. We need a third tall forward ASAP. Cameron, Patton, whoever. Throw everything at them. We need another 195cm+ tall defender. And we need another ruckman.

The lack of speed last year has been addressed, we now have (when on the park (White) or not hitting a wall due to his first pre-season (Polec)) that covered. Our needs now are TALL, TALL TALL. If we don't go tall in trade and drafting this year then kiss the next 3 or 4 years away as no side wins without quality talls.

What you are describing, and you are right, is lack of depth. We lack a couple of additional talls to cover and help out. The annoying thing is that at the start of the year we knew we would be in trouble if Trengove was injured and that is exactly what has happened. Our list is clearly unbalanced we definitely need to address height in this year's trading and draft.

Im ******* pissed off but some of the over reactions on here are pathetic....trade wingard....as bad as primus years.

Seriously **** off.

Time for the Get off the Stage song Jack? :p

please dont any of you see it..we are copying everyone elses game plan..play everyone behind the ball then try to run out of defence with handball and try and hit up short targets until our forwards have a chance to run back into the forward line but its too late the whole collingwood team got there first...well f me ....just dont....leave our forwards inside 50 ...f having extra numbers around the ball and play on and go long to our forwards who are already in the forward line and be daring and score more than tan 100 points.

Relax. Mark it. We will be a ****ing force. Be patient. We were EXCEPTIONAL early. Be proud. We will get there.

Watched the last quarter of the final last year in preparation for this game, and what stood out was we always had players forward of the ball, often in space as they hadn't followed their opponent up the ground.
